Thoughts: Either pay rm$0.40 to eat inside the kopitiam or order a drink but forget the Teh Tarik! Anyway, excellent first taste of Bao from 葉記食品企業 Yup Ghee; this one here is just the kiosk outside the coffee shop at Chow Rasta market.
According to Google search, "Yup Ghee 'Hand-Made Pau' Food Enterprise (葉記'手工包'企业')" have many good reviews. 葉記 prides itself for its Bao without preservatives and no coloring. I believe the wholesale or is it the factory location is at Balik Pulau, Penang. Yup Ghee starting selling Bao since 1998 and now the business is run by Yup's 2nd generation and still producing Bao the traditional way, ie: "Hand made"!
According to its facebook (if correct), 葉記 Yup Ghee also sells its hand-made Bao at various night markets as below:
