Thoughts: 華氏88廣場 (又稱飛輪海88廣場) Fahrenheit 88, a revived shopping Mall from the previously known as KL Plaza (before 2010 it was owned by the Berjaya Group)! Pavilion Group bought the 5 floors shopping Mall and rebranded it as 華氏88廣場 Fahrenheit 88 (the name reflecting the average temperature in Malaysia (31.1 C). It isn't that glamorous compared to its sister Mall just opposite the road, the 柏威年 Pavilion KL. But it houses the first 優衣庫 UNIQLO's (ユニクロ) Store in Malaysia, which opened in November 4, 2010; and with a large-format location boasting the largest sales area of any UNIQLO store in Southeast Asia.

This years Chinese New Year theme in KL's "華氏88廣場 Fahrenheit 88" is "和諧的藝術 Arts in Harmony" (I think). With Tiger Chinese Painting pieces by 鄭英傑老師 Mr Tee Ying Jie (an established Master in Chinese Calligraphy, Painting, Water Color, and Digital Art). Not all but part of the 60 ”虎”中國畫 "Tiger" Chinese Brush Paining art pieces are in display at the Center Court of the Shopping Mall. The "Tiger" Chinese brush paintings "畫" is one of the 4 major Chinese Art elements "琴棋書畫" (合稱四藝 the 4 Arts) are the Ancient Chinese Scholarly aspirations of Music, Strategy, Calligraphy, and Chinese Painting:

琴 Qin (Music)

棋 Qi (Strategy)

書 Shu (Chinese Calligraphy)

畫 Hua (Chinese Painting)

Also adorning the Center Court are giant 中國畫燈籠 Chinese painting hanging lanterns!

Thoughts: Another mediocre Christmas decoration here at Fahrenheit 88! I believe most if not all of the decorations are sponsored by "The Body Shop"! With a "Space ship" and "Bubble lights" for the theme of "To Dream Big Christmas". Not too exciting.
