While 環球麵包屋主 Universal Bakehouse serve standard bowls of classic tomato soup (like the rm$16 "番茄湯 Tomato Soup" for breakfast today), they are also famous for a related signature item: their house-made 香料番茄奶油 Spiced Tomato Butter, which is regularly served alongside slices of their signature country sourdough. The Co-founders of Universal Bakehouse in Petaling Jaya (PJ) are Marcus Low (also behind nearby Cafe "Table & Apron" founded in 2014) and Asya Tan (Co-founder and general manager). AND in October 2019, the duo founded Universal Bakehouse in Damansara Kim taking over a former 40-year-old 洗衣店 laundry space while 特意保留了原有的舊招牌 preserving the historical local signboard.
