Thoughts: I am not entire sure why this place is so famous, upon arrival at around 10am on a Saturday; lots of customers were already queuing for the egg-on-toast, and next stall offering the roti canai with chicken was the same. A little easy for me, as I squeezed in an empty spot along the very long bench/table.
Basically, the teh tarik wasn't good at all and the signature curry chicken drumstick on a roti canai also perhaps were overrated! Its probably something that someone really likes and others won't enjoy. The two 50+ guys next to me are non-Penangites but travel to Penang every other month and one of their must visit is this Transfer Road Roti Canai!
I think its probably a popular destination for Malays and Indians, with tourists flocking in most likely due to social media hype! At least, I have tried it once!
