Thoughts: The Taiwanese F&B "兩披索火鍋 Two Pesos" hot pot was established in 2008, with the first outlet opening in Taiwan, according to Two Pesos Malaysia. The restaurant is famous for its specialty hot pots such as 石頭鍋 stone pot and 牛奶海鮮鍋 milk seafood pot, and offers a variety of 台灣風味小吃 Taiwanese snacks and 飲料 drinks The F&B expanded to Malaysia in 2014, opening their first outlet in Petaling Jaya's SS2. 

Probably one of the highlights of Two Pesos is their self-service sauce of: 小辣椒 Small Chili, 蒜蓉漿 Garlic Paste, 沙茶漿 Sha Cha Sauce, 豆瓣漿 Bean Paste, 蔥油 Scallion oil, 辣椒漿 Chili Sauce, and 蔥花 Chopped Green Onion. Meat-based Hot Pot offers the choice of 豬肉 Pork, 雞肉 Chicken, 魚肉 Fish, 澳洲牛肉 Australian Beef, 澳洲羊肉 Australian Lamb, and 手工豬肉丸 Handmade Pork Ball. 

Today's rm$28.90 Dinner is a "胡椒豬肚鍋 Peppering Pig Stomach Pot" with a Milky Pepper-based Soup, along with a bit pot of Fresh Vegetables, choice of Meat is 澳洲牛肉 Australian Beef (4 slices) and 菠菜麵 Spinach Noodle.

Thoughts: Opened in September 2019, last visit to the only steamboat restaurant in USJ10 "兩比索靚鍋 Two Pesos", was Dec 1, 2019. And soon few months later, has to be closed due to MCO1.0 in March, and then MCO2.0 in January, and now MC3.0 May (11 days ago); the 2 shop-lot Taiwanese Steam boat shop is so far still surviving the MCO.

"兩比索靚鍋 Two Pesos" is a 小火鍋專賣店 or Mini Hot-Pot specialty shop; as the normal hot pot meal is usually for a group of people and special occasions, the "迷你火鍋 Mini Hot-Pot" concept offers Hot-Pot for individuals/small group as a casual dining of "每日用餐選擇 daily meal option" with the right portions, convenient, and comfortable modern interior settings. The business model was started by a Taiwanese couple in 2005 in 台北市 New Taipei City, Taiwan. Came to Malaysia in 2014 with the first branch in SS2 aiming to share the concept of "Two Pesos hot pot as a new daily meal culture" in Malaysia. Today, the Franchise has around 30 outlets in the 台灣島 island of Taiwan and 8 outlets across 巴生谷 Klang Valley. 

When thinking of Steamboat, it is probably more of a Dine-in scenario in the restaurant or just buy your own steamboat ingredients and cook it at home. Steamboat restaurants have to improvise for take-away only during these lock-downs; 兩比索靚鍋 Two Pesos offers rm$9.90 take-away or delivery Steamboat with Meat choice of either 豬肉 Pork, 魚 Fish, or 牛肉 Beef (add rm$1.90) and Noodle choice of 伊麵 Yee Mee, 方便麵 Instant Noodle, 米粉 Bee Hoon, Rice, or 滷肉飯 Braised Pork Rice (add rm$3..90). The rm$9.90 variant comes with basic soup (I think Pork bone/Chicken soup), 湯頭升級 Soup upgrade of rm$3.90 for other soup choices of 番茄湯底 Tomato,  韓式湯底 Korean,  壽喜燒湯底 Sukiyaki, or 麻辣湯底 Spicy soup base. The basic also comes with 2 side sauce: 招牌辣椒醬 Signature Chili or 炸蔥 Fried Shallots. 

The rm$9.90 Pork choice comes in a hot bowl along with generous portions of vegetables including 玉米 corn, 包菜 cabbage, 南瓜片 pumpkin slice, 胡蘿蔔 carrot slices, 豆腐皮 bean curd skin, 白豆腐 white tofu, and 豆腐卜 taufu pok (and maybe 2-3 more items can't remember). Generally, a satisfying meal.
