Thoughts: Some say that the Penang Road Famous TeoChew Chendul is a Chendul Specialist that provides the best quality of chendul in Malaysia; arriving to the stall at 10am and I don't see a queue yet. With super high expectations but disappointed as I dig in to the bowl of Chendul and fail to find anything special in it; maybe one has to queue for an hour to get the Chendul that it will taste better!
I found a seat inside Joo Hooi Cafe to savor the famous Chendul; disappointed and maybe its just me and I ordered a mix of 菜糕 Cai Kuih which somehow I enjoyed more than the famous Chendul. Leaving the location 30 minutes later, and I see the queue at the Chendul stall starts forming. Usually, after 11am, you will find a long queue of tourist to sample this famous Teowchew Chendul. 
Still, maybe its really just me not approving the famous Chendul; but I think the over 80+years stall history worth some mentioning here. The founder, Mr Tan Teik Fuang learned making and began selling Chendul at Penang Road back in 1936; believing that his business will help make a living for his family, After over 40 years and by the year 1977, Tan Teik Fuang's sixth son, Tan Chong Kim fully took charge of improving their business; you can even the a huge mural of Tan Chong Kim above the Chendul stall on the wall of Joo Hooi Cafe!

Thoughts: Everything sampled was nice, totally satisfied. Known to be one of the biggest hawker center combining both wet market and food court, that's the "七条路美食街 Cecil Street Market Food Court". A place where maybe only the locals come to eat the real Penang street food as the location, its maybe 1.5-2km from the City Centre. As Jalan Mechanize is Street 1, Cecil Market is on Street 7 hence 七条路; I had an idea to explore this area starting from Street 1 to Street 7 but just couldn't find the right day to do it.

Maybe when the English people named to roads, it was difficult to locals to pronounce them and therefore its referred to as Street 1 to Street 9 in Hokkien!
Cecil Market opens from 7:30am to 7pm, definitely worth many visits here. The 碩硪炒 Fried Sago was quite unique! Comes with a bowl of un-appetizing dark soupy bowl, the bite on the sago was "QQ" almost jelly like, a very traditional recipe but is an acquired taste!

Thoughts: Simple kopitiam but love everything on the table! For me, very satisfying breakfast offerings. The "Penang Koay Teow Tng" was very nice, to my liking, an elderly also sets up a kiosk just at the entrance and offered to try her fantastic Cai Kuih and Yam Cake. The hot "杏仁茶 Almond Tea" less/no sweet is a must order as well.
