Thoughts: Yummy Tummy Thai Noodles Cafe used to be a half-shop lot at No.31, Jalan USJ 10/1E, I believe last year, the "Authentic Thai Street food eatery" moved to No.34-1 (upper level) on the same road (opposite its old half-shop lot). It is now directly above "Hai-O Store", with a larger and cozier dining space, they have also expanded their All-Thai Menu.

泰式炒粿條 Thai-style fried kway teow most commonly known as 泰式炒河粉 "Pad See Ew" is a popular stir-fried flat rice noodle dish. Different from Malaysian "Char Koay Teow", this Thai style is still fried with flat rice noodles is savory, yet with 一絲濃鬱的甜 a touch of rich sweetness of the 黑醬油 dark soy, 糖 sugar (and likely 醋 vinegar or 魚露 fish sauce) and maybe also 蠔油 oyster sauce (usually it is fried with 芥藍 Chinese broccoli and 豆芽 Baan sprouts). And on the side are 乾紅辣椒片 dry red chili flakes, 青檸角 lime wedges, and 烤堅果 toasted nuts (like 碎花生 crunched peanuts). 

The rm$4.50 "泰式烤肉串 Moo Ping" did not disappoint. "Moo Ping" or "泰式烤豬肉 Thai grilled pork", originated in the 泰國東北部 northeastern region (Isan) of Thailand. The dish evolved from regional 農村的燒烤方法 rural grilling methods and skyrocketed in popularity nationwide during the 1950s when 便攜式食品運輸車 portable food transport carts were redesigned and adopted by local street. "Moo Ping" is one of the most common and 最具代表性的街頭小吃街頭小吃 iconic street foods found all over Thailand.

Thoughts: Re-visiting the same Kopitiam for dinner (lunch here was vegetarian mixed rice). AND for dinner is the Philippine cuisine stall and the Pork Satay stall. The Kopitiam offers 2 Satay choices: one from the Philippine cuisine stall and another one from a stall near the entrance area call "Satay No.3" and both of them offering Pork Satay. AND Pork Satay choice today is from the "三號沙爹 Satay No.3" stall, and for rm$1.80 per stick was definitely worth sampling. Finding pork satay in Subang Jaya, Selangor can be a challenge due to religious dietary restrictions and this one in USJ10 is definitely worth a visit. AND there is a number to call for Pork Satay delivery as well at +6011-2042 7279 (for Austin Seah). The 豬頸肉沙爹 Pork Satay is rm$1.80 per stick, always available are 雞肉/羊肉/烏達烏達沙爹 Chicken, Mutton, and Otak Otak Satay! 

The 5pcs "素春卷 Spring roll Vege" for rm$5 was mediocre at best, while the rm$11 "酥炸牛奶魚 Sour Boneless Milkfish" or is called "Daing Na Bangus" in Tagalog! "Daing na Bangus" refers to 遮目魚 milkfish that is marinated in a mixture composed of 醋 vinegar, 碎胡椒 crushed peppercorn, 大蒜 garlic, and 鹽醃製的 salt. Hot pepper such as cayenne 辣椒粉 pepper powder can be added to make it spicy. It is usually 醃製過夜效果最佳 marinated overnight for best results, and then 炸至酥脆 fried until crispy.

In the 菲律賓 Philippines, 遮目魚 milkfish is a very popular food fish, locally known as "Bangus" and the Philipino word "Daing" means "乾 Dried" and therefore "Daing Na Bangus" literally refers to "乾遮目魚 Dried Milkfish". It's the 菲律賓的國魚 country's national fish and is a 菲律賓家庭的主食 staple in many Filipino households. Milkfish is known for its mild flavor and is often consumed 煮熟 cooked, 風乾 dried, 熏製 smoked, or 切片的方式食用 filleted. As the fish is the Philippines' national fish, it is therefore 菲律賓最受歡迎的養殖魚類之一 one of the most popularly cultured fishes in the country, milkfish can be raised through 鹹水 brackish water, 海水 marine, and 淡水 freshwater 養殖環境中養殖 culture environments.

The Philippine cuisine stall in the Kopitiam is called "Pinoy Cravings" and "Pinoy" just means "relating to the Philippines or the Filipinos"; and so "Pinoy Cravings" means "Philippine Cravings".
