Thoughts: Most of us would remember the "Ice Cream Cart" that went around the PJ area in the 70s and 80s. But little will any one know that Darren Tan who is the founder of this Cafe; while not Darren but rather his father Mr Tan Jun Joo was among the first in the country to own an ice cream truck and that familiar ice cream jingles that announces its arrival to the residential areas of PJ area. Senior Tan started out in the Ice Cream industry way back in the 1970s as a truck driver who helps his friends to deliver premium ice cream from Singapore to Malaysia.
And with over the many years of the Tan's family's affinity for ice cream, they now run the "Sungei Timur Sdn Bhd" with the core business of importing Premium overseas Ice Cream to hotels, cafes and restaurant in the Klang Valley. It is the family's unique relationship with one such Premium Ice Cream maker from New Zealand's Fonterra dairy that Darren brought in the famous Kapiti Ice Cream to Malaysia. So, Darren and friends created the "IDC (Ice Cream Cafe)", an Ice Cream Cafe which is located in SS20's residential area that offers precisely the famed New Zealand Kapiti Ice Cream.
Today, sampling Kapiti's "Lemongrass Ginger" Ice Cream on a beautifully baked Waffle; I can understand why it is considered a Premium Ice Cream. Finally with a good cuppa of Latte made my day. Not just Ice Cream but Affogato as well as Ice Cream on Waffles and Burritos; the Cafe also offers Coffee, Tea and Soda. IDC offers a comfortable and cozy setting for those who like a quite place for Ice Cream and Coffee.

Thoughts: So, I realized I am in Damansara Kim again for breakfast and this area is really just part of PJ SS20. The address did say it is Damansara Kim but google map doesn't (just type" Damansara Kim" and you will find out why)! And so, the PJ Municipal Council or whatever government body has been creating names of places in the PJ area since maybe the time I was born (the 60s); just for example, the place where I grew up which is SS24 is also being referred to as Taman Megah, while SS22 is Damansara Jaya, The larger part of SS21 is Damansara Utama while there is a smaller area called "Damansara Uptown". And while the nearby roads called "BU something" including One Utama is in an area called Bandar Utama. As if not enough, opposite SS20 where SS2/100+ (3 Damansara Mall and its surrounding Apartments and houses) are called Damansara Intan. And, I believe parts of SS20 is also called Damansara Kim. You may also know or not that PJ Seksyen 17 is called "Happy Garden" and that is why there is also a "Happy Mansion" there where there are really some good food there!
So, arriving at SS20 (or Damansara Kim) before 7am, driving around this part of PJ; stumbled into this "Medan Selera Damansara Kim" where there is a small section for the Chinese hawkers and the rest for the Malay hawkers. 
The Chinese stall called "杂饭 Mixed Rice" is Stall#15 offering not only 经济米粉面饭 Vegetable and Meat with Rice or Economy Beehoon/Mee; but also 伊面 Yee Mee, 猪肠粉 Chee Cheong Fun, 咖喱面 Curry Mee, and 清汤粉 Soup Noodles. Food is just average but generally affordable and the next stall's Teh C was nice. At 7am, the stall already have many customers (most just parked their cars illegally on the road shoulder next to the Medan Selera). Many customers also coming for take-away from the Stall, should be a popular eatery for office workers and residents nearby. 
Parking may not be that good along SS20/10 but there are ample MBPJ parking opposite the Medan Selera where there are one row of shop lots (there are stairs coming down from the shop lots area to the Medan Selera). I will probably sample the Nasi Lemak offered by the Malay stall here at this Damansara Kim Medan Selera, next visit.

Thoughts: Here is a nice little Cafe spotted while driving around SS20 looking for some Bread and Coffee instead of noodles and nasi lemak. The happy hour coffee from 8:30am - 10:30am offers a rm$3 discount for all Coffee on the menu, so my excellent Latte was rm$6 instead of rm$9, I think better than Starbucks Latte!
"Bakery La Artisan Boulangerie", as Boulangerie is French for 面包店 or Bakery; and so maybe the Quintessentially French pastry of  "Croissant" is their signature pastry. Also available in the menu are Pizza and a variety of heartier breakfast choices to choose from. However, my breakfast was "丹麦向日葵 Sunflower Danish"; freshly baked with semi-cooked egg, this one at rm$5.80 is definitely worth a try! 
Next visit here should be sampling the Croissant!
