Thoughts: Last visit here on Sept 14 was to sample "細弟豬肉粉 Sai Dee Pork Noodle" Pork soup noodle, and that was when the Kopitiam just started to re-open after MCO3.0 announced for Dine-in. Unlike 3 months ago where people maybe still hesitant for Dine-in again but today the Kopitiam is with a lot of Dine-in customer despite the news of the emerging South African Omicron Covid variant!  

Today's breakfast is the 細弟's rm$6.50 "干撈豬肉粉 Dry Pork Noodle" and as usual my favorite choice of noodle, the 老鼠粉 rat noodle. On the side is a bowl of slightly salty pork soup with minced pork, sliced pork, pork liver, and pork intestine. 細弟 was busy today as my bowl came after 30 minutes! Ending breakfast with a Strong "Gao" cup of 鴛鴦 Cham at rm$2.20. Not too long ago, Kopitiam coffee or tea is still rm$1.80 but some have increase to rm$2; and the Online Malay Mail News yesterday reported that Kopitiams nationwide are expected to increase the price of their beverages by as much as rm$0.60 in the new year (rm$0.20 to rm$0.30 in Rural areas and rm$0.40 - rm$0.60 in Urban areas). This would mean that a cup of 奶茶"絲" TehC or 咖啡 Kopi will then be from maybe rm$2.40 to rm$2.60 in 巴生谷華人茶餐廳/茶室 Klang Valley Chinese Kopitiams. The President of the Kopitiam Association citing price hike is due to increase operation costs and it is inevitable as the Kopitiam needs to make a profit! 

金華茶室 Restoran Jing Hwa is one of the three Chinese Kopitiam in USJ10 that offers Air-Conditioning as well as Fan section, and looks a lot cleaner compared to "南京城茶餐廳 Nan King" and "冇得頂茶室 Mou Dak Deng". Besides your typical beverages, the Kopitiam also offers sandwiches and 菠萝包 Polo Bun which I have got to try next time! And there are a good variety of hawker stalls here: 燒臘飯 Roasted rice (available as early as 8am), 馬來蒸飯 Nasi Kukus, 雲吞麵 Wanton Mee, 炒粿條(鴨蛋) Chow Koay Teow (Duck egg), 西式早餐 Western breakfast, 豬扒/雞扒飯/麵 Pork/Chicken chop rice, 魚頭米粉 Fish head noodle, 咖哩麵 Curry mee, and 娘惹糕 Nyonya Kueh/Siew Pao/Snacks kiosk. 

I have sampled both 細弟's soup and dry pork noodle, the stall also offers 苦瓜豬肉粉 Bitter Gourd Pork noodle, 姜酒豬肉粉 Ginger Wine Pork noodle, and 番茄豬肉粉 Tomato Pork noodle; all from rm$6.50 to rm$7 for the regular and large variant respectively. And I think around 7:15am is a better time to avoid the breakfast crowd and maybe easier MPSJ parking just in front of the kopitiam.

Thoughts: Last visit for the Pork Noodle here was 23.Oct.2020 last year, and it has been a long time since MCO3.0 started in May that Soup-based hawker food wasn't a take-away choice personally. So, today is the first time having 豬肉粉 Pork noodle soup after more than 4 months since MCO3.0. 

Also, my first TehC since May! Anyway all the 3 Chinese Kopitiam: "南京 NanKing", ".冇得頂 Mou Dak Deng", and "金華 Jing Hwa" now opened for Dine-in. Many of the hawker stalls in all 3 kopitiams should be ready to serve breakfast as early as 7am+, and MPSJ will probably only start their rounding after 8:30am or 9am.

Thoughts: The kopitiam "金華茶室 Restoran Jing Hwa", besides several hawker stalls, the kopitiam also offers an on-site pastry stall. The pastry stall bakes fresh Chinese pastries (at the shop itself), offering baked 燒包 Siew pao, 咸蛋酥 salted egg pastry, 葡撻 Portuguese tart, 小豆沙餅 Tau sar piah, and 加央角 Kaya puff (all for rm$0.60 to rm$2.50 per piece). Besides these on-site daily bakes, the stall also offers 馬來西亞糕點 Malaysian Kuih and other snacks (like "薩騎馬 Sart Kay Ma" etc). 

But today's breakfast is an rm$2.50 咖喱角 Giant Curry Puff, not made by the stall but sourced from a vendor in Puchong. The Giant Curry Puff is slightly spicy with lots of savory curry potato plus some egg, definitely worth sampling.
