Thoughts: The 海墘美食中心 Jetty Food Court in George Town, Penang, is a highly recommended mostly by tourist, slightly higher prices compared to other local food courts. It is however a large food court with lots of table with high ceiling and therefore breezy especially in the evenings, it is a hawker-style venue near the Chew Jetty. The food court offers a diverse selection of local and international cuisine from Thai, Chinese, Malay, Arab, BBQ as well as bottled beers, The atmosphere is lively specially in the evenings and some nights also show case live music. 
Reviewers high recommended the 炒粿條 Char Kway Teow, 檳城叻沙 Penang Laksa, 蠔煎 Fried Oyster, and various 烤沙爹串 grilled satay skewers, prices are definitely on the higher side.

Thoughts: Situated along Weld Quay, near the Clan Jetties and a stone’s throw from the UNESCO Heritage Zone, "海墘美食中心 The Jetty Food Court" is a hidden gem for those looking to dive into the vibrant local food culture of Penang. The Jetty Food Court is less about aesthetics, this modest yet bustling food court, serving as a meeting point for locals and visitors alike. From Penang Char Koay Teow, to Laksa, Ice Kacang and Satay plus more; with maybe 50-60 or 70 tables in an open air large food court space. Food here seemed wallet friendly. 
The Cafe opens for lunch from 11am offering hawker foods until mid-night, and is well-known for its lively atmosphere and LIVE music every evening, featuring local singers performing various songs from oldies to modern hits, creating a fun, interactive dining experience with food stalls offering local delights. Both bottled beer and limited on tap beer are available till mid-night.
