Thoughts: When researching for "Kacang Pool" yesterday for breakfast, both "Serambi D'corner Noranom" and "Hanana Station" was the result of Google search, and of course it was "Kacang Pool" for breakfast at "Hanan Station" yesterday. But today is a planned heavy rice breakfast at Puchong Kampong Seri Andalas's "Serambi D'corner Noranom"!
Thoughts: When researching for "Kacang Pool" yesterday for breakfast, both "Serambi D'corner Noranom" and "Hanana Station" was the result of Google search, and of course it was "Kacang Pool" for breakfast at "Hanan Station" yesterday. But today is a planned heavy rice breakfast at Puchong Kampong Seri Andalas's "Serambi D'corner Noranom"!
For breakfast is a rm$11 "安邦飯 Nasi Ambeng", which is an 印尼菜 Indonesian cuisine of 白飯 steamed white rice with 炒麵 fried mee plus on the side: 黑醬油雞翅 kicap hitam chicken wing, 椰絲 serunding (spiced grated coconut), 豆豉 tempeh with 長豆 long beans, 印尼炸土豆餅 bergedel, and 2 小鹹魚 small salted fish plus a small plate of 參巴醬 sambal. A super heavy breakfast or more like an early brunch at 7:30am in the morning!
Traditionally, Nasi ambeng is often served communal dining-style on a 拼盤的形式 platter to be shared among four to five people; especially during festive or special occasions such as a kenduri. It is a popular 爪哇美食 Javanese cuisine, especially within the 爪哇馬來社區 Javanese-Malay communities in 新加坡 Singapore and the Malaysian states of 柔佛州 Johor and 雪蘭莪州 Selangor where they also added 炒麵 fried noodles as additional condiments. (Wikipedia)Serambi D'corner Noranom is a corner shop located in Kampong Seri Andalas, Puchong. The Malay village is located at the West of Puchong (Puchong is still part of the Petaling District). The village is about 200m east of the Klang River, about 2.5km from Subang's One City and 1.5km from Puchong's Bandar Puteri (towards the East). The Malay cafe offers early breakfast from 7am but it only operates until noon time. The menu shows Kacang Pool, a variety of Lontong (10 variants) which I will have to come gain to sample the Cafe's "Lontong Darat"or the interesting "Lontong Goreng"! And there are also several variants of Mee Rebus, Laksa Johor, and other noodle choices; of course not forgetting Nasi Lemak with a variety of Add-ons, Lempeng, Roti bakar & Roti Goyang, and of course the Nasi Ambeng. And that is just on the menu, there are also a good variety of Malay Kueh and ready-to-go meal packets for dine-in or easy takeaway/takeouts. Oh yeah, there is also a section for self-service fried noodles and fried rice.

At 8am today, Serambi D'corner Noranom is packed with customers as it looked to be a popular breakfast spot for residents nearby. And rightfully so, I liked the 安邦飯 Nasi Ambeng today and looking forward for the Lontong and Lempeng in the future. Finishing breakfast at 8am, a guitarist just started to play and sing live music (not sure it is a Friday thing or a daily feature of the Cafe).
