Thoughts: Probably the only Café in PJ that opens as early as 6am for early birds before hitting to road to work. The Café offers breakfast and lunch until 2pm daily. AND today's breakfast is a rm$18+rm$1 (change chips to salad) "波爾圖蘑菇配馬蘇里拉起司和沙拉 Porto Mushroom w/Mozarella and Salad".

Thoughts: The signature dishes here are "薑酒蛋湯 Ginger Wine with Egg Noodle" and "番茄蛋湯 Tomato and Egg Noodle", and the waiter also recommended the shops 甘榜(菜園)雞 Kampung Chicken. "百家村麵家 Next Station Noodle House" is one of several Chinese restaurants in a single row of shop lots in PJ's Seksyen 19, located at the junction of Jalan 19/8 and Jalan Harrapan turning into SS2. And there are also several Durian stalls here. Perhaps the downside is parking is limited MBPJ parking, but I suggest to park behind the shop lots aa the residential houses along Jalan 19/7 or 19/10 or 19/12 (around the small park). 

Today's dinner is the shop's signature rm$13.50 "番茄上湯麵 Tomato Egg Soup Noodle", which can be ordered as soup noodle, rice, dry, or just the soup (without noodle); and noodle choices are 麵線 Mee Sua (todays choice), 黃麵 yellow noodle, 米粉 Mee Hun, 老鼠粉 Loh Si Fun, 粿條 Koay Teow or Home-made 菠菜 spinach mee. In the menu are also 菜菜園飯 Kampung Chicken with Rice, as well as a good choice of side dishes like 客家肉丸 Hakka Fried Pork Ball and 客家豆腐卜 Hakka Tofu Pok. Today's choice of one of the shop's signature 番茄雞蛋湯麵 tomato egg noodle dish appeared in thick red-orangey color tasty soup and loaded with a variety of items: even a piece of 鮑魚 abalone, 魚丸 fish ball, only one piece of tender 菜園雞 kampung chicken, 魚餅 fish cake, 雞肉 chicken meats, and 煎蛋 scrambled fried eggs; topped with some green onions. 

Apparently the simple Noodles with 西紅柿雞蛋麵/番茄雞蛋麵 tomato egg sauce in its most basic form is cooked simply with 3 basic ingredients of 麵  noodles, 番茄 tomato and 雞蛋 egg; and a popular noodle dish in 中國 China, 台灣 Taiwan and parts of 東南亞部分地區 South East Asia. The sweet and savory noodle dish is particularly easy to prepare and cook, and a popular dish for busy mom's for their little children in China. Also a popular recipe is 番茄蛋湯 Tomato egg soup (without the noodle), which also goes well with rice. 

There probably used to be another 百家村麵家 called "Next Station and Bukit Pagar Noodle House", which is at PJ New Town BUT maybe permanently closed due to the Pandemic.

Thoughts: Both the "菲律宾酿鱿鱼 Rellenong Pusit (Stuffed Squid)" sampled in Deepsea Food at Sunway Geo Avenue on 11.01.2019 as well as the "传统菲律宾面条配蛋虾 Palabok noodel" at PJ Centerstage's CalleVerde on 17.10.2019 were very positive experiences on Filipino cuisines. For dinner today, found another Filipino restaurant in PJ and its called "Laguna Filipino Bar & Restaurant". Laguna is at Seksyen 19 but the location is in a shop lot along 19/8 trunk road which joins the SS2/24 trunk road; SS2 is just few minutes of walking distance from the shop lots. Parking was easy at around 7pm today.
The menu is extensive with a good variety of Philipino cuisines from savory to sweet desserts, and for beer only San Miguel is available. The menu choices seems more suitable for dining in groups of maybe at least 2 if not 3-4 persons; don't think there are any single portions.   
The "菲律賓鐵板炒豬肉 Sisig Pork" should be ordered together with rice (the garlic rice was nice!) or beer. Went well with the 生力轻啤酒 San Miguel Light which is a light ale and less filling, easy drinking beer. The "Sisig Pork" seems to be a traditional Philippine dish that dates back to the 18th century; used to be an appetizer but over the years become a popular dinner entree. The original recipe of Sisig is a porky dish with pig face and ears but chicken and chicken innards, tofu and seafood are also possible ingredients. The variant served at Laguna today was mainly pork and pork innards as well as bell peppers and lot of onions plus an egg in a hot plate.
Very good service offered when ordering food and another positive experience of Filipino cuisines!
