Thoughts: The 大馬茶室 kopitiam and its long-standing stalls have served the USJ 17 neighborhood since the late 1990s/early 2000s. Several years ago, there was a name change to the kopitiam (maybe change of ownership) "新海景餐館 Restoran Weng Soon Jaya" expanded and operating across two shop lots following major renovations and facility upgrades. However, the well down 嘛嘛檔 Mamak next door "Sri Melur Jaya" closed down suddenly around the COVID-19 pandemic period sorme time around 2020 and 2021 but soon after the same corner shop lot is replaced by "Restoren Salim Dheepah Maju".

Breakfast today is a rm$19 "牛肉湯 Beef Soup" from the "婆羅洲牛腩粉 Borneo Beef Noodle stall" which come go with rice, noodle but today's breakfast is just the soup variant. 婆羅洲牛肉麵 Borneo beef noodles often known as 沙巴牛雜麵 Sabahan Ngiu Chap (mixed beef noodles) are popular for their 濃鬱 rich, 鮮美的湯底 deeply savory broths, 分量十足的牛肉部位 generous portions of diverse beef cuts, and comforting, 傳統配方 generations-old recipes.

"Ngiu Chap" is basically from the 客家話 Hakka dialect for "牛雜 mixed beef" and the "婆羅洲牛肉麵 Borneo beef noodles" is popularly known as "Ngiu Chap" in 沙巴 Sabah. The 客家群體 Hakka community is still the 沙巴最大的華人方言族群 largest Chinese dialect group in Sabah, they up around 58% of the total ethnic Chinese population in the state of Sabah. But the recipe originated from 移居沙巴的海南籍華人 Hainanese Chinese immigrants during the 英國殖民時期 British colonial era to Sabah. It is the 海南島的移民 immigrants from Hainan Island brought their 傳統的燉肉與熬湯技藝 traditional meat-stewing and broth-making skills to 北婆羅洲 North Borneo (即現在的沙巴 now Sabah). One story is that in the early 1960s, early pioneers like 黃惠豐女士 Wong Hui Feng (founder of the famous 亞妹 Ah Mui/Wong family stalls) began 小規模售賣牛肉麵 selling small-scale beef noodle soups at 露天市場 open-air markets in 丹絨亞路 Tanjung Aru, later moving to 森布蘭 Sembulan and 哥打基納巴盧(亞庇) Kota Kinabalu's 班檯面街 Jalan Pantai.

Thoughts: Come July 1.2024 (or could be just next week), there will be NO MORE FREE PARKING at Puchong's Putri Mart. The Main reason for implementation for Paid Parking is that many Office people have been "Free Loading" to Park their cars for entire days at the Private Open Space Parking to go to work at the shops nearby or take the LRT ride to work elsewhere! 

For those who come to the Market for Groceries or Food, it is FREE for the 1st 2 Hours and from the 3rd Hours onwards will be rm$1 per hour!

Thoughts: Galbitang a Korean style clear soup made with beef short ribs. The ribs seems to have boiled along with Korean radish, onion, garlic, and ginger and delivately tastey flavor which I like. The set comes with unlimited refillable side dishes namely korean pancake, kimchi, and boiled green vegetables.
Oiso, besides Damen, have branches in PJ's Tropicana City Mall, PJ33, Shah Alam Utropolis, KL Taman Desan as well as Menara Hap Seng. Oiso at Damen openend since Damen's opening several years ago. As long as the restaurant maintain its food quality, it should be a choice for Korean food fans. Oiso at Damen does provide a comfortable ambience and quiet dining option.
