Thoughts: This should be the 12th visit of SS15's Peppercorn Cafe, and the 1st time to visit the Cafe for Dinner (before this was all for Breakfast or Brunch). Instead of the Ala-Carte, Dinner is rm$38 "海鮮莫爾奈套餐 Seafood Mornay set": 

主菜 Main Course (Seafood) + 2 sides (Salad + Sautéed vegetables) 

Set comes with 前菜 Appetizer (Salad + Toast + Cream Soup)

Set comes with 冰淇淋 Ice Cream Dessert (other choice is Pudding)

Set comes with 冰檸檬茶 Ice Lemon Tea

The Main course is "海鮮莫爾奈 Seafood Mornay" (Ala-Carte is rm$27) which comes with 蚌 Mussel, 蝦 Prawn, 魷魚 Squid, and 多利魚 Dori Fish cooked with 奶油起司醬 Cheese cream sauce which 沙拉 Salad + 炒蔬菜 Sautéed Vegetables (other choices are Mash Potato and Fries). AND for the set is rm$38 (add rm$11 to the Ala-Carte price of rm$27) which then comes with 前菜 Appetizer + 冰檸檬茶 Ice Lemon Tea + 冰淇淋 Ice Cream Dessert. 

"海鮮莫爾奈 Seafood Mornay" is a rich, comforting, 法式菜餚 French-inspired dish consisting of a 海鮮混合 mixed seafood medley such as 白魚 white fish, 鮭魚 salmon, 蝦 prawns, 扇貝 scallops, or 貽貝 mussels. This classic french dish of mixed seafood swimming in a 濃鬱的奶油芝士醬汁 rich, creamy cheese sauce called Mornay sauce (一種經典的白醬 a classic Béchamel sauce enriched with 加入了融化的芝士 melted cheese like Gruyère, Parmesan, or cheddar). The dish is usually topped with 麵包屑 breadcrumbs and 額外的芝士 extra cheese, then 烘烤至金黃酥脆 baked until golden and bubbly.

SS 15/4 used to be Bubble Tea street but now with its 連同周邊的小巷 surrounding lanes in Subang Jaya form a dense core of the broader SS15 美食天堂 food haven, packed with 時尚咖啡館 trendy cafes, 酒吧 pubs, 網紅美食店 viral comfort food spots, 韓式烤肉 Korean BBQ, 日本料理 Japanese cuisine, and 西式亞洲融合餐廳 Western-Asian fusion restaurants, and 和深受學生喜愛的餐廳 student-friendly eateries. Peppercorn Cafe in SS15, Subang Jaya was founded in 1995. Located on Jalan SS 15/4 which was previously known as the "珍珠奶茶街 Bubble Tea Street", this 社區西式咖啡館 neighborhood Western-style cafe has served breakfasts to dinner for more than 30 years now.

Thoughts: This should be the 11th visit of SS15's Peppercorn Cafe, this is one of very very few Cafe in SS15 to opens daily at 7am every day in the year except for Chinese New Year and perhaps just few other Public holidays.

班尼迪克蛋 Eggs Benedict originated in 紐約市 New York City during the late 19th century, with several stories about its origin but perhaps the most popular theory crediting Delmonico's Restaurant in the 1860s, where chef Charles Ranhofer created it for a customer, Mrs. LeGrand Benedict. Mrs. Benedict, wanted something different for lunch. Because she was such a good customer, the chef, Charles Ranhofer, whipped up something new just for her. Mrs. Benedict was very happy with her meal, and Chef Ranhofer named it after her when he added it to the menu!
