Thoughts: There are few must-eats at Penang Georgetown's 汕頭街的夜市 Kimberley Road, the street comes alive after 5pm with street food hawkers coming out to sell various local Penang food delights and there are 4 must-eat here often referred to as "汕頭街四大天王 the 4 Kings of Kimberley Street":

Established for maybe more than 55 years, The Super Star Koay Teow Soup stall is now operated by the 第三代繼承人經營 third-generation successor. Their dishes are among the must-eat foods in 汕頭街 Kimberley Street and only available in the evenings. The braised dishes are of traditional 潮州料理 Teochew recipes from the stall's forefathers whom were migrated from Southern China. The pork and chicken meats and innards are braised with a combination of natural spices and cooked on high heat with charcoal flames, their signature dishes include 滷雞爪 braised chicken feet, 滷雞腿 braised drumsticks, 滷大腸 braised pork intestines, 滷雞胗 braised chicken gizzards, and 滷雞蛋 braised eggs. The 滷雞爪 braised chicken feet is definitely a must-try, as there were so tender enough to melt in the mouth. During the pandemic, the shop improvised to sell their signature braised items in lunchbox meals and pre-packed frozen braised dishes for customers to enjoy these dishes at home.

Thoughts: The 潮州食堂 Teochew Kitchenette is an eatery in Tanjong Pagar Plaza that specializes in 道地潮州魚湯 authentic Teochew Fish Soup as well as the shop's signature 潮州魚頭火鍋 Teochew Fish Head Steamboat.
