Thoughts: Came here early for the much-talked-about Char Koay Teow at 泉利茶室 Chuan Kee Restaurant in PJ's Seksyen 11. The Kopitiam opens at 7am with most stalls in business around 7:15am, but unfortunately the Char Koay Teow stall was still empty at 7:45am! Settled for the 心记 "Sam Kee" Wan Ton Mee where after the chinese owner set up the stall with the charsiew, he left it to 2 bangladeshi to run the show. Prejudice aside, the Wan Ton Mee wasn't too bad; the Chasiew was quite good which is quite tender with a good roast, instead of the normally 3 soup wanton, its 2 soup wanton and 1 fried wanton. The Noodle was good with the sauce a bit too salty for me, good to see the plate came with some pork lard and scallions but no choy sam. At rm$6, typical price for a plate of Wan Ton Mee in Klang Valley; I'd say its an above average Wan Ton Mee. Left the kopitiam at 8:15am, the Char Koay Teow stall still wasn't ready yet!
