This "長頸酪梨 long neck Avocado" is from the country of 越南 Vietnam. 長頸酪梨 Long neck Avocados can be hard to find because they're grown primarily in 佛羅裡達州南部 southern Florida, as opposed to more common varieties sourced from 墨西哥 Mexico and 加利福尼亞州 California. The long neck Avocado species can also be found in the 加勒比海 Caribbean islands, and 中美洲 Central America.

Thoughts: One of the cheapest 澳洲酪梨 Australian Avocado in town at rm$12 for 3 can be found at Puchong's Puteri Mart "223 Fruit shop", but the price there is now increased to rm$15 to rm$17+ depending on the size of the Avocados. And recently, they offered rm$13 for 3 which are ready to eat Avocados which may go bad if not consumed within 2-3 days! 
Today at USJ10's "iFruits Market" (opposite NanKing Kopitiam), chance on the Taipan Fruit shop to offer rm$13.90 for 3 Avocados (I think medium size from "MF 101 葡萄牙酪梨 Portuguese Avocado"). Looking forward to taste test the Avocado from Portuguese when it ripens! 
Researches believe that 墨西哥 Mexico and and 中南美洲 Central and South America to be the Motherland of the 酪梨 Avocado fruit, which has been consumed by the 墨西哥人 Mexicans of more than 10,000 years! In America,  Avocado trees were first planted in 佛羅裡達州 Florida in 1833 and then in 加利福尼亞州 California in 1856. As expected, 墨西哥 Mexico it the largest producer of the Avocado fruit, followed by 哥倫比亞 Colombia and 秘魯 Peru. In European countries, Avocado plantations can be found in 西班牙 Spain and increasing presence in 葡萄牙 Portugal.  
Like the 香蕉 banana, the avocado is a 躍變型水果 climacteric fruit, which matures on the tree, but 離樹後成熟 ripens off the tree. 成熟的酪梨 Ripe avocados yield to gentle pressure, like how pressing the center of your palm feels like. 酪梨 Avocados that are darker in color may be riper than light green ones. But when the skin color turns to 深綠色 deep dark green (深棕色 deep dark brown) colors (由於氧化 due to oxidation), it is the point of no return, though there is some change in flavor but it can still be eaten.
Whether the Avocado is used as a fruit or vegetable may not matter; However, unlike other fruits, they're low in carbs and high in fat. It is also for the "High Fat" reason that the "Avocado Myth" is know for many years as a Fattening food! BUT the type of fat in an avocado (Over 75% of their fat is “good fat”) is mainly unsaturated (specifically, 單不飽和脂肪 monounsaturated), which, when eaten in place of high-saturated-fat foods, can help maintain healthy cholesterol levels.

High in Fat (unsaturated fats/mono - "good fats")
High Calories (1 medium Avocado fetches at least 240 Calories)

High in Fibers (does have several type of Vitamins and some Minerals)
Not high in Protein 
Glycemic Index of 40 (Low GI)
Glycemic Load of 0.9 (Low GL)
Some say the maximum amount of Avocado to be consumed daily is either 1/2 to 1 Avocado due to its high Calories. Experts say that having 1 or 1/2 Avocado daily can help improve bad cholesterol levels in overweight and obese people, from a study published in 2015 in the Journal of the American Heart Association found. Therefore a moderate consumption of Avocado is good thing.

Thoughts: Located within the township of Bayan Baru, Sunshine Square was opened in 1993 as the flagship store of the local retail firm, Suiwah Corporation. The five-storey shopping centre caters to the surrounding community, as well as shoppers from the nearby towns and residential areas such as Bayan Lepas.
One of the major tenant inside Sunshine Square is the  陽光廣場 Sunshine Supermarket which is this week of Keto fruits for the Penang assignment.
