Thoughts: The Layout for Hock Seng Kopitiam during the Lockdown period seemed different from the other Chinese Kopitiam around USJ area. The interior of the Kopitiam is not accessible as all the stalls in operation are all lined-up at its entrance. "林记椰酱饭 Lim Kee Nasi Lemak" could be quite a new addition to the Kopitiam; as it offers a rm$2.90 Economy Bihun with fried egg and Chinese Tea. However, the main attraction of the "new stall" is Nasi Lemak with its fried chicken or curry chicken which comes with nice mixed of chinese style sambal (not too spicy) and thick creamy curry. For the Covid period, the kopitiam also offers rm$1 Kopi or Tea for Tapao.

Thoughts: Last visit to  星光茶餐室 Restoran New Sin Kong was way back in 25.01.2018 and not sure since when is now called 福昇咖啡店 Restoran Hock Seng! Night session at Restoran Hock Seng starts around 5pm until after mid-night 1am and houses at least 12 stalls offering 金宝鱼蛋粉 Kampar fish ball, 鱼滑/鱼蛋粉 Fish ball noodle, 板面/伊面 Pan mee/Yee mee, 爪哇面/啦沙 Jawa mee/Laksa, 云吞面 Wantan mee, 肉骨茶 Bak kut teh, 沙爹 Satay, 烤鸡翅 Chicken Wings, 烧鱼 Grill fish, 炒粿條 Char koay teow, 咖喱面/猪肉粉 Curry mee/Pork mee, 大炒 Dai chao; around 12 stalls. Compared to its neighbouring 南京茶餐室 Kedai Kopi Nanking which is more spacious because its a 2 shop lot kopitiam; New Sin Kong or Hock Seng always loses out due to its single shop lot layout!
For dinner, sampling the Bak Kut Teh stall where I much prefer their Curry Pork. Each costs rm$13 per claypot bowl. The Bak Kut Teh comes with mild flavored BKT soup (preferred a more herbally flavored style) but the 3 layer pork meat wasn't too bad. Would have preferred Wild Boar Curry but the stall only offers Pork Curry which was also nice.
