Thoughts: Last visit here was Aug 9th last year where I had the ChikuTeh which was generally interesting and something different. And today, for lunch its the "Char Koay Teow Basah" (Wet Fried Koay Teow), comes in sea of orange colored soup which is foundation is likely a prawn-based soup, along came 2 medium sized prawns (not too fresh but edible), the soup was very egg (much like cantonese fried) but quite sweet tomatey taste; then its the char koay teow and brean sprout. Interesting indeed but taste wise, did not find any excitement about it, !

Thoughts: There are not many restaurants that offers Chicken Kut Teh (The Chicken verison of Bak Kut Teh); because unless it is great, it's difficult to attract the Chinese into one. Mix Cafe is a Halal restaurant, offering lots of Halal version of Chinese cooking. And on todays menu, is the Chikuteh. Surprising that it is quite nice! I like the soup, the chicken was cooked until really really tender, comes with the usual Tofu Pok, with "Chic Kut Teh" brooth (a little herbally). An interesting find!
