Thoughts: Four Beans Soy Desserts, also known as 四夕豆花, originated from a 馬來西亞南部 southern Malaysian family recipe (started as a 柔佛州的一個本土品牌 local brand in Johor) passed down by 羅爺爺 Grandpa Luo to the 傳給第三代的家族秘方 third generation. The popular 甜點連鎖店 dessert chain is named after its unique recipe using 四種非基因改造大豆 four kinds of non-GMO soybeans 不添加石膏粉 without adding gypsum powder.

Interesting dessert sampled today is Four Beans's rm$7 "白貓咪布丁 White Cat Pudding". The viral "White Cat Pudding" (often called the 跳舞貓布丁dancing or 搖晃貓布丁 jiggly cat pudding) is a 柔軟 soft, has a 搖晃 wobbly texture, and 有互動性的甜點 interactive dessert! The pudding features a refreshing, distinct 椰子 coconut and 和仙草凍口味 grass jelly flavor 基底 base; and not too sweet to my liking. 

四夕豆花  Four Beans serves their popular 焦糖起司蛋糕 burnt cheesecakes featuring a creamy center and caramelized top, available in Four Flavors of 原味 original, 芋頭味 taro at the USJ10 locaiton (other branches may be 抹茶味 matcha, and 黑芝麻味 black sesame flavors) with prices starting at rm$16.00 per slice. Sampled today is the 原味 original flavor. The cheese cake featurs a signature caramelized dark top with creamy custard treat. 

The rm$10 熱燒麻薯 Hot Mochi at 四夕豆花 Four Beans Soy Desserts is a 傳統 traditional 耐嚼甜點 chewy dessert 趁熱食用 served warm and on the side as 蘸料 dipping are generous portions of 碎花生 crushed peanuts and 黑芝麻粉 black sesame powder.

Thoughts: Korean Soy Sauce Drummies which is believe in Koren is 닭강정 (or DakGangJeong!), its deep-fried crispy chicken dish glazed in a sticky, sweet, and spicy sauce. 3pcs at rm$8.90, enjoyed it so much. 
The 3 dish Namul 나물 are 3 vegetarian plate dish (a spicy sour cucumber, tasteless green, and kimchi). On the day of Daeboreum (19th Feb), is a Korean holiday that celebrates the first full moon of the new year of the lunar Korean calendar which is the Korean version of the First Full Moon Festival. The Koreans celebrates this day with many traditions and one of it is to eat Namul 나물 with five-grain rice. It is believed that Namuls eaten in winter help one to withstand the heat of the summer to come.
I end my lunch with a Korean dessert "Citron Jelly 유자 젤리"; I have just realized that 香橼 Citron is an Asian tree bearing fruits which resembles large lemons with less acid flesh and thick fragrant peel (Wikipedia). The fruit is believe to have been native India, in the foothills of the Himalayas and later also cultivated in the Mediterraneans! The Citron Jelly is garnished with Citron peels as well as dried red dates, enjoyed this dessert. 
This is the first time visiting Seoul Garden Hot Pot at Main Place USJ 21, the restaurant has been here for several years already! Enjoyed todays Korean bites and desserts, sure to drop by for its proper meal at another time.

Thoughts: Compared to the 1st intro to 爱玉冰 Ai Yu Bing at Chulia Street in Penang, this one here taste much better, with lemony flavour and a mixed of jelly, not too sweet and addictive when digging into the bowl. I am not sure its entirely really healthy but goes well after a bowl of laksa, curry mee, or in my case a plate of 金香啦啦 KamHeong Lala! 
糖水街 Tong Sui Kai, with maybe 60+ stalls, not just desserts but also noodles and Dai Chao as well as snacks; definitely a must-visit in Ipoh. Parking is possible at night somewhere around Jalan Jubilee or Jalan Theatre, and then a short walk of less than 5 minutes to Tong Sui Kai along Jalan Sultan Ekram.
