豆角烧肉饭 Long Bean Roasted Pork Rice $7.90
Thoughts: In Malaysia, I guess (at least this restaurant) is called 单座饭 "Individual Rice" but in Hong Kong it is the 碟头饭 or "Dip Tau Fan". Whatever name it is, it is a single dish with rice. Unlike 杂饭 which is pre-cooked choices, 碟头饭 is likely cooked when the customer orders it. The choices of 碟头饭 here are with price range from $7.90 to $8.90 with choices of pork, deer meat, fish, wild boar, and chicken, tofu, and egg.
The Long Bean Roasted Pork Rice was quite a disappointment, not enough 鑊氣 "Wok Hei", maybe should have ordered the wild boar or deer meat instead.
興發廣式飯店 Hiing Fatt serves generally Cantonese Style dishes, it is likely famous for its seafood as the restaurant logo is a "big CRAB"! Besides 碟头饭, you can order dishes 叫菜吃饭 from quite a good choice from the Menu.
興發廣式飯店 Hiing Fatt not only having this outlet in USJ 21, but also in Ara Damansara and Puchong as well. The restaurant at USJ 21 is just next to Main Place near the traffic light on the Main Road just outside USJ 21/10. At night, most people just park their cars on the shoulders of USJ 21/10 just outside the restaurant or you can park at proper parking lots along USJ 21/9, or $2 for first 2 hours of parking at Main Place itself.
