Highlights: Cheaper beer, very casual and noisy
Thoughts: Probably one of the Penang pubs where beer is cheap, even on a Tuesday night; the place is full house, very happening place for beer drinkers. But certainly not the prettiest drinking bar in Penang! Interestingly, there is also a Barfly in KL's Mont Kiara which is in my "KL Watering Hole goto places" (still trying to find time to go there)
The Barfly Penang is probably doing well because of the relatively cheaper beer but one may or may not like the atmosphere here. You can get a mug of Tiger for rm$6 during Happy hour time from 4-8pm and I think bucket drinks are maybe even cheaper!
