Thoughts: The first film in the series of Marvel Movies went on screen May 2, 2008, 11 years ago! Since then until to-date, Marvel Studio has released all together 22 films (and 9 more in various stages of Production as of today). Avengers: End Game is the 22nd film released 2 days ago on April 24, 2019.
With the running time of 181/182 minutes (3 hours and 1/2 minutes), Avengers: End Game is now the the Avengers movie with the longest running time compared to all its previous Marvel movies to-date. "Infinity War" was 149 minutes while "Captain America: Civil War" was 147 mintues while the "The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron" lasted 143 minutes!
At GSC Summit USJ, the movie runs 16 shows a day with each show screening 1 hour apart which means many of its theater halls are screening the movies. On the 3rd day of screening, the 3 hour movie at GSC Summit USJ costs rm$10 before noon, and from 12pm onwarts, its rm$18!
Avengers: Endgame continues from the last movie with the grave course of event set in motion by Thanos to wipe out half of the Universe including many of the Avengers. The movie begins with Tony Stark adrift in space without food or water and sends a message to Pepper Pops via his iron man helmet as his oxygen supply starts to dwindle! Then the Lights came with "Captain Marvel" (a Superwoman) who rescued both Tony and the "Good" Nebula and bring them back to the Avengers headquarters on earth.
With half of the Universe gone, 5 years pass, Banner and Hulk "Merged", Thor become a Fat Drunk King and kind of ruling the remaining Asgardians in a remote land in Norway; while Tony and Peppers now have a daughter named Morgan. Tony, initially given up on saving the world again; but later, realizing the possibility of time travel. He then brought his ideas and a "time travel GPS" to the remaining Avenger team to seek the possibilities of bringing back the vanquished Avenger allies as well as half of the Universe by travelling back in time. Teaming up with the rest of the "still alive" Avengers, they planned to recover the 7 Time Stones back in time in the hope to restore the Universe vanquished by Thanos!
The Avengers went back in time in 3 Teams in different time lines. In the course of recovering the Time Stones, "Black Widow" sacrifice herself to recover the "Soul Stone" from the "Red Skull". According to the "Red Skull", the Magic of the "Soul Stone" requires a permanent sacrifice, does this mean that the "Black Widow" will not appear in future Avenger movies or .... !
When all 3 Teams recovered all 7 Time Stones, all came back except the "Black Widow" and also with the "Bad" Nebula (while retrieving one of the Time Stones, the "Good" Nebula was captured by Thanos and hence, Thanos commanded the "Bad" Nebula to return to the future to destroy the Avengers Plans of bringing back the vanquished Universe.)
Back on earth at present time, with the 7 Time Stones, Hulk managed to snap back into existence all the creatures who had been erased by Thanos in the previous movie. But the "Bad" Nebula opened a Time Portal for Thanos and his Army to destroy the future world again....
But, with Hulk's snap, the returned heroes including Dr Strange, Red Scarlet Witch, and Black Panther plus all other who vanquished by Thanos; the almost final scene was "the last battle" with Thanos and his army! While trying to save the 7 stones from Thanos, Iron Man held the 7 stones and snapped to destroy Thanos and his army, the gamma radiation released when he uses the stones is what kills Tony Stark! .. and so it is confirmed that both the Black Widow and Iron Man dies in the Avengers: Endgame. Interestingly, Captain America went back in time to rekindle love with his young lover and grow old together with her, the last scene showed Captain American as a old man in the present time and he declares his friend Sam “The Falcon” Wilson as the new Captain America!
After 11 years, "The Avengers: Endgame" marks the 22nd movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and for the first time, Marvel fans will not see a visual sequence tacked at the end of the movie, which usually teases what's really next for everyone. Nevertheless, if you'd stick around at the very end of the movie, there aren't any post credit scenes but rather a small audio cue that comes with the final Marvel Studios logo. It is a kind of a sound of some metal hitting another metal's which is suggesting the sound of Tony Stark forging his Iron Man armor or the last sounds of Iron Man fans will ever hear with the ending of Iron Man or could it be even a hint at a future Marvel character arriving at future Marvel movies in the making! Without Iron Man, Black Widow, and the Aged Captain America; or is it really so, and anything can happen but it will be interesting to see how things will play out in future upcoming Avenger movies.

Thoughts: In the 1.5 years, I have suddenly build upon an interest for Marvel movies. I think many people like it because it offers "a bit of escapism" from the real world and most of them seems to be very well created. The characteris are actually FUN to watch. The most violet yet seems to be the Dead Pool series (with a lot of blood and vulgar language!), but in it a lot fun as well. Especially when Dead Pool made fun of both Marvel and DC heroes. 
Like the original, Deadpool 2 is bloody, raunchy, violent, and filled with pop-culture references. He movie is targeted specifically at older audiences. Do expect a lot of extreme graphic violence, actions of torture, decapitation, and the usual brutal hand-to-hand combat (like Deadpool 1), and a lot more. You'll hear "f--k", plus "a--hole", "bitch", and of course "s--t" throughout the entire 119 minutes of screen time. You can see scenes of adults smoking, drinking, and use drugs. 
Bound to be Dead Pool 3 in the marking!

Thoughts: The Dark Tower is a Steven King's Novel, all together 7 books. The plots in the book incorporates themes from multiple genres, including dark fantasy, science fantasy, horror, and Western. The Dark Tower is often describe as Steven King's "magnum opus" (代表作). Maybe reading the book is much more interesting than the movie! Then again, there are a total of 7 or 8 episodes on "The Dark Tower" series by King. This installment played in the cinema is the first one, I guess there could be part 2, 3 ... etc. depending on whether this first one can "sell"! 
"The Dark Tower" Part 1 has a simple story. It is about a young boy who is a "powerful psychic" dismissed by his mother and step father who thinks that he is "crazy". The young boy Jake Chambers (played by Tom Taylor) dreams about a dark tower, gun slinger Roland Deschain (played by Idris Elba), and the villain Walter Padick (played by Matthew McConaughey) is is here to destory earth. It is now a familiar story in cinemas where multiple dimensions of the world exist, and the villain is trying too open a door for monster to come to the "earth" dimension to destroy human kind. The boy then help the gun slinger to kill the villain and stop the portal for the monsters to come over. It seems that by destroying "the dark tower" (which is in the vision of the psychic boy), the portal will open for arrival of the evil monsters. Roland Deschain is the last gun-slingger of his kind who is "feared" by the villain Walter Padick  (also called "Man in Black" in the movie)! Roland has lost his motivation and "touch" as a gun-slingger, he is helped by the psychic boy Jake Chambers to regain his confidence and finally killed the "Man in Black". 
Last scene was Roland the Gun-Slingger and Jake Chamers the Psychic boy walked into a door to another dimension; perhaps signaling a partnering duo to defend the earth or human kind in the next episods of "The Dark Tower"!

Thoughts: The Marvel series of Logan, the Marvel comic character Wolverine's finale movie, I think! The movie started with the ageing Wolverine overlooking a grave and then the ending with his "DNA created daughter" Laura standing over Wolverine's own grave; yes, Wolverine dies in this movie! The Wolverine series started in 2013 and final ending its last screening 2017! or is it? Or maybe next one is "Return of the Wolverine!", LOL!
The Marvel and DC series, as well as those Hong Kong comics, were my favorite haunts at the book shop at S.E.A. park area when we lived in the shops there for few years until moving to SS2 at 8 or 9 (I think). I think I was never really interested in them all, it was just fun picking up one to look at a few pages before being chased away by the bookstore owner. 
When DC comics, as I remembered, first featured "Superman" in the movies with the late "Christopher Reeve" as the Superman in the Movies in 1978 (I was in Form 1 then), for a long time it was Superman and Batman movies. But late few years, the Marvel comics played on screens with recent computer technologies and special effects make them bigger and better, and more grand, I suppose! 
This one "Logan"!, as violent as this movie can be will all the blood on the screen, it was a sad Ageing Wolverine with seemingly no hope and nothing to look forward to in his life. He was trying very hard to stay alive as a limousine taxi driver to save enough money to buy a boat to take Professor Charles Xavier to safety and to live the rest of their life in solidarity. The Professor was suffering from some kind of disease resulting him unable to control his telepathic abilities. 
But the movie really centers around Logan's DNA daughter, and the setting was in the year 2029, while mutants were already a thing of the past at the brink of extinction. Logan found his "Genetically created daughter" called Laura from his DNA by "Transigen", young children were created with Mutant DNA to be used as weapons but the children escaped. 
From there, it was Laura, Logan, and Xavier trying to escape from "Transigen". The Professor died along the way! and so as the Ageing Logan! He managed to save some of the mutant children. 
A sad tale about very powerful and strong mutant with strong motivations in their healthier and younger days but at life ending moments, both lacked the very convictions they used to have. Without a sense of direction and motivation, he was being chased and beaten up by new generations of genetically enhanced humans! 
It just comes to show that no matter how smart you are (exemplified by the Professor) and how powerful & strong you are (Logan), time will soon past and nothing really matters at the end.

Review: An interesting movie about a somewhat egotistic and arrogant doctor. A road accident robs him of his surgical hands. And when western medicine fails him, he went to Tibet to seek healing from a mysterious master... from there on he has to fight his own ego in order to master the mysterious powers but he quickly learns that his heeling will soon bring him in front of great evil where he has to fight off to save the world ... another Marvel movie, that ends with him having a conversation with Thor about his evil brother, Loki ... obvious hinting upcoming episodes.
