Thoughts: 芙蓉姨婆老鼠粉 Yi Poh is originated from 芙蓉 Seremban, Malaysia. It was founded in 1948 by owner Grand Aunt. Its main Headquarter is located at Seremban, currently have at least 4 branches in the 巴生谷地區 Klang Valley area.
Our specialty is "Lo Si Fun or 'Laushufen" (老鼠粉) aka. Laksa noodles. The Restaurant serve traditional 姨婆老鼠粉 Yi Poh Lo Si Fun, 餛飩面 Wantan noodles, 客家面 Hakka noodles & various types of noodles. We also serves various delicates food such as 餛飩湯 Wantan soup and 泰國豆腐 Thai Tofu.

Today's visit to PJ Old Town's "芙蓉姨婆老鼠粉" is to sample the "胡椒豬肚湯" Pepper Pork Belly Soup but ended up with the rm$9.90 "咖喱叻沙" Curry Laksa (something new in "姨婆" Yi Poh menu for about a year now. The Laksa comes with 超濃叻沙汁 super thick laksa gravy, 炸豆腐 fried bean curds, 豆腐  tofu, 魚餅 fish cakes, 半個水煮蛋 half of a boiled-egg and ONE single large 大魚(肉)丸 fish or maybe meat ball; 沒有肉 no meat nor 沒有蛤蜊 clams (and also did not find in the bowl what looks like 碎肉 minced meat in the picture menu). Honestly, it is acceptable but slightly expensive for the concoction. 

The restaurant is currently also offering a rm$1.10 咖啡 Kopi/ 黑咖啡 Kopi O Hot or Ice, and it will be closed in a few days time to make way to renovations and is planned to reopen early November next month. 芙蓉姨婆老鼠粉 Restoran Yi Poh (PJ branch) is now open for Dine-in but it looks like most customers only come for Take-away. 

Where "芙蓉姨婆老鼠粉 Restoran Yi Poh" is located, which is about 1km 八打靈再也南部 South of Petaling Jaya (PJ) New Town, this Seksyen 1 八打靈老鎮 PJ Old Town is the oldest urban area within the city of Petaling Jaya, which was once the site a squatter resettlement scheme in the 1950s, the area soon became the beginning of 馬來西亞第一個戰後新城 Malaysia's first post-war new town. Petaling Jaya is divided originally into numbered sections (also known as Seksyen), and 芙蓉姨婆老鼠粉 Restoran Yi Poh is located in PJ Seksyen 1 (there are Seksyen 1 to at least Seksyen 51). And then, there are areas called SS like your popular food places like those in SS2 or SS20 Damansara Uptown (which are 八打靈再也中西部 Central and Western PJ from SS1 to SS26 Taman Mayang), "八打靈再也北端 Petaling Jaya Utara" (PJU) are places in Northern PJ like Ara Damansara all to way to before the old Subang Airport. And finally "八打靈再也南端 Petaling Jaya Selatan" (PJS) areas are located in Southern PJ which is Sunway Pyramids and its vicinity (from PJS1 to PJS11). 

2 popular eateries in this part of Seksyen 1 (behind 芙蓉姨婆老鼠粉 Restoran Yi Poh), along Jalan 1/10, which is 興記古早味肉骨茶 Heng Kee Bak Teh, and 顺利茶餐室 Restoran Soon Lee Coffee Shop, I believe either temporary or permanent seized operation or maybe relocated elsewhere.

Thoughts: So, after visiting several locations of Jin Xuan; there weren't any disappointments. Except for challenging parking, this branch in PJ Old Town offers similar Dim Sum taste and quality as its other branches. Because the Dim Sum opens as early as 6:30am, so parking is easier maybe before 7:30/8am in the morning. 
This branch of Jin Xuan in PJ Old Town offers both indoor and outdoor seating areas.

Thoughts: Embarrassed to say that finally found the zest to drive to PJ Old town for an early morning breakfast. At 6:45pm, a little more that surprised to arrive at the junction (exit from Federal Highway) turning to Jalan 222 with only 3-4 cars at the traffic light! Usually this location is a traffic nightmare at this hour of the day. 
Parking around 7am around 顺利茶餐室 Soon Lee Coffee Shop was a breeze, the kopitiam already busy with early birds having breakfast and 7 or 8 stalls already serving customers .... Pork/Curry noodle, CheeCheong Fun, Koay Teow Th'ng, Wan Ton Mee, Pan Mee, Char Koay Teow and mixed Vegetarian seems to be available as early as 7am in the morning. 
And so, my breakfast today was the "much talked about" 粿條汤 Koay Teow Th'ng here at 顺利茶餐室 Soon Lee Kopitiam. Unlike in Penang where Koay Teow Tng served with Duck meat/pork/chicken can be found too easily not just in kopitiams but also as road side push cart stalls at the heart of Georgetown, but the same hardly can be said about this type of noodle offering in Klang Valley. 
At rm$6, quite a generous amount of 鸡丝 chicken slices (I think maybe some 猪肉片 pork meat slices too), 2 鱼丸 fish balls, a little bit of 猪油炸 pork lard plus some sprinkles of 炸蒜葱 fried onions/garlic and 葱 julienne chives on my bowl of flavorful broth with 河粉 hor fun. Many in the web describe the Koay Teow Th'ng here as the best in town and it sets the benchmark for a better bowl of Koay Teow Th'ng, perhaps/maybe or at least in Klang Valley!
