Thoughts: So, all the morning wet/dry market stalls in SS2 are now re-located to the new "Canopy" area, which is just next to the permanent SS2 "Wai Sek Kai". 
彩虹槟城炒粿條 Rainbow Penang Char Koay Teow, previously operating on the road side of SS2/67 (just outside Baiwago Cafe), is now one of the stalls among the wet market stalls in the "Canopy" area (looks cleaner), and more tables available for customers instead of take-away. Other stalls are nasi lemak, economy fried noodles, Chinese fritters, wan ton mee, and cheong fun.

Thoughts: Last Having the WanTon Mee here was July 17th. Why do I revisit the WTM despite taste being so so, it doesn't matter and I up 1 point this time. It's a cool and wet morning likely due to rain earlier and SS2 wet market always a vibrant place in the mornings. Parking is always available for early birds; although most shops (eateries) will only open after 8/9am. 
Frequenting here a few mornings, there are at least 3 make-shift stalls in the morning market; 荣记云吞面 Weng Kee, next-to-it another Noodle stall, and a Char Koay Teow as well (all at the entrance to the Wet Market). I have not ventured inside the wet market area where maybe there more stalls inside offering breakfast! Next time, maybe!

Thoughts: A wonderful place to have a cup of local Tea, here you can watch the morning go by. I like it here, no bad smells from nearby "longkangs". Make-shift tables are at the shop veranda (Nikudo Seafood market).

Thoughts: Do not undermind make-shift hawker stalls on the road side. This is served one of the best Char Koay Teow in town. 够火候, 够味道! The lady boss even told me that my plate's Koay Teow just arrive fresh from Penang the night before. (She still uses fresh Koay Teow from Penang factories) In fact, she is a Penangnite! The stall opens for the morning market except Mondays. 
I would say, a "Must Try" dish in the morning in SS2 Morning Market on SS2/67 just next to the Durian Stalls. Early morning parking is very easy, either Tapao or eat here on the road side (3 tables). You can also have your Koay Teow to be fried with either Duck egg or Chicken egg. It also offers desserts (I believe it's red bean or patato).
