Thoughts: Today's dinner is rm$12.40 "三種傳統風味椰漿飯配雞肉仁當 Nasi Lemak 3 Rasa Traditional Rendang Ayam". Comes in 2 lunch box, one box with a still warm "仁當"雞腿 Rendang chicken drumstick with excellent rendang sauce. And another box with the 3 color and also "still warm" nasi lemak of 白米飯 white rice, 班蘭味米飯 pandan flavored rice, and  藍米飯 blue rice, nice! With the usual 炸江魚仔 fried anchovies, 堅果 nuts, and 煮雞蛋 boiled egg, plus two bags of 醃製菜 pickled vegetables and 辣叁巴醬醬 spicy sambal sauce. Beautiful combinations, tasty, and satisfying.

Have always thought that 仁當 Rendang is a Malay dish. But the origin of Rendang could be traced back to the 印度商人 Indian merchants, who brought their food to 印度尼西亞 Indonesia which was adapted by 米南人 Minang people as "Gulai". The cooking process from "Gulai" was then continued until it thickened and became rendang. Some even say that "Rendang" is the Treasure of the Minangkabau and commonly cooked with Beef or Chicken; and also came across modified version of "Rendang" with Pork!

Not sure if Nyonya Cendol is open for Dine-in; however, its latest facebook posts (as at yesterday) shows that at least its Tropicana Gardens Mall location is now open for Dine-in.
Established in January 2016, "Nyonya Cendol" offers a variety of not just Nyonya cooking but variety of Malaysia recipes: from 檳城亞參叻沙 Penang Asam Laksa, 檳城蝦麵 Prawn Mee, 檳城咖哩面 Penang Curry Mee, Chee Cheong Fun, 板面 Pan Mee, 粥 Porridge, 雲吞面 Wanton Mee, 娘惹豆醬馬鈴薯燜雞 Nyonya Ayam Pongteh (also 羊肉mutton, 甘榜魚 Ikan Kembung, and 咖哩雞 Curry Chicken), 椰漿飯 Nasi Lemak, 小吃 Snacks varieties and not forgetting the must try 娘惹煎蕊 Nyonya Cendol! Nyonya Cendol's 仁當 Rendang, 囉雜 Rojak, 亞參叻沙 Asam Laksa and 板面 Pan Mee are also customer favorites.

Nyonya Cendol at Main Place is still around, offering Delivery via GrabFood and FoodPanda where Penang Curry Mee and Asam Laksa are their signature dishes. Today's lunch is rm$15.19 "檳城咖哩麵 Penang Curry Mee", the lunch box is delivered in 2 bowls with the curry in a bag in a bowl and another bowl the noodles. The 白咖哩 white curry bag includes some 豆腐卜 Tofu Pok which the noodle bowl comes with noodles (either 黄麵 Mee, 米粉 Bihun, or 粿條 Koay Teow), also 青豆 green beans, 小蝦 fish cake slices, 小蝦 prawns, 魷魚 squid, 豆芽 bean sprouts, and 叁巴 sambal. Nice good bowl of white curry mee, but it is double the dine-in price!

Perhaps a much cheaper and better bowl of 檳城白咖喱麵 Penang white curry noodle can be found anywhere on the streets of 檳城 Penang 喬治敦 Georgetown.

Thoughts: It's almost a month since RMCO announcement in June, business is usual for most and parking has become somewhat worst at Main Place area. And even 7am, parking nearby the mall is more challenging then before MCO.  
Halal Dim Sum, as much as I am adventurous on trying it; the best thus far is still "The Queens 18.01.2018" in Seksyen 15 Shah Alam, not sure if the Halal Dim Sum restaurant is still around.

Thoughts: Cham was very "Gao", but despite requesting for less sweet; it was still delivered as it is which is very sweet. For breakfast, it is salted steam chicken, tenderly cooked as it should be despite wan ton mee was just ordinary. Kopitiam could have been $6.50/$7 but here is around $11 in the mall.
