Thoughts: Cafe "Bayou Diner" opened its first location in Puchong Kinrara somewhere in July 2017, and 2 years later amidst the CMCO period, opened another location in Taipan in September 2020 (just 3 months ago), the Taipan branch sits at a corner shop lot taking up the previous tenant "Strawberry Cafe".
Thoughts: Cafe "Bayou Diner" opened its first location in Puchong Kinrara somewhere in July 2017, and 2 years later amidst the CMCO period, opened another location in Taipan in September 2020 (just 3 months ago), the Taipan branch sits at a corner shop lot taking up the previous tenant "Strawberry Cafe".
Not sure about the Kinrara branch, but the Taipan location serves a all-Halal menu offering not just Bayou cuisines, but also local and thai dishes with meal prices from rm$12.90 - rm$48; from steaks, to pasta, burgers, pizza, to a few Local and Thai dishes.
The rm$20.90 "新奥尔良什锦饭 Jambalaya" is a kind of mixed fried rice dish. a kind of "卡疆克里奧爾風味米飯料理 Cajun Creole Style Rice Recipe", a dish of West African, French, and Spanish influence. The mixed vegetable often includes 秋葵 okra, 胡蘿蔔 carrots, 番茄 tomatoes, 辣椒 chilis and 大蒜 garlic fried with lots of seasoning that goes into the fried rice and often cooked with 香腸 sausages, 蝦 shrimps, 豬肉肉塊 pork, or 雞肉塊 chicken cubes, and in 路易斯安那州 Louisiana's local 小龍蝦 crawfish found in Louisiana's Cajun bayou land seafood. "Bayou Diner Taipan"'s Jambalaya variant comes with good size fresh prawns, fried rice with lots of seasoning mixed with chili, tomatoes, chicken sausages, long beans, lots of colorful bell pepper slices, definitely hot and spicy!
