The Hotel is in close proximity to Cafes, Pubs, night life along Lebuh Chulia, also a few minutes from Kimberley street and Campbell street via Lebuh Chulia where you will find even more Penang hawkers food. The Hotel also offers bike rentals for residents, limited parkings are also available.
Chulia Heritage Hotel offers 45 rooms with 6 types across 2 floors. There are rooms with offers shared bathrooms and also rooms with bathrooms with additional costs. The first room I got was fairly warm, the same even I asked to change to another room as the front-desk said that all air-conditions are already very old and nothing can be done! The room was brightly lighted, reasonably clean with a very small toilet, very basic indeed, for the price around rm$110/night (without breakfast) and at the heart of Georgetown, front-desk operates 24 hours, parking available if you drive to Penang; except for the air-conditioning, I am not complaining too much!
