Thoughts: This place is called the "Hold Up café " in the morning with a strange Orange Refrigerator that none of the Baristas nor workers seems to be using it. However, the cafe does not operate in the evening and that Orange Refrigerator is the entrance to a "Hidden Bar" called "Out of NoWhere", definitely one of the best Quirks into one of the most happening Speakeasy bar in Penang.
The decoration is not amazing, its quite dimly lighted inside but seems really quite Lively and the Hidden Pub was packed even when I left at the mid-night hour.
Cocktails here are at rm$38 which is Out of NoWhere's signature drinks; both of the male and female mixologist seemed skillfully making cocktails one after another; I watched them mixing variety of cocktails all night long.
First was "情绪失控"鸡尾酒 I went Bananas Cocktail which is a mix of Ghee Washed Whiskey, plus "Ras el hanout" (Mediterranean spice), Salted Banana Caramel, Lemon and Egg White; creating a Sour, Relaxing and Creamy Cocktail. Easy to drink!
my second cocktail was "野生の棘 Thorn to be Wild" where the cocktail was poured into a glass with an apple in it. The Cocktail is a mix of Red Bull Whiskey, Hawthorn Berry, Cinnamon, and Ginger; creating a Smokey, Warm Spice and Fruity Cocktail. Don't play play as this cocktail is strong one!
Overall, quite an amazing experience.
