Thoughts: The All-day-Vegetarian restaurant offers over 20 types of Vegetarian Dim Sum, Vegetarian Snacks, a variety of familiar Nasi Lemak, Nasi Kunyit, Bak Kut Teh etc in Vegetarian variants. And even Vegetarian Burgers, Vegetarian Satay or Vegetarian Yong Tao Foo etc as well as Vegetarian Western Food; with prices from rm$6.90 to rm$16.50. Everything in the picture menu looks delicious and umami.  

Today's rm$9.50 "素黃薑飯 Vegetarian Nasi Kunyit" comes with flavorful and delicious brilliant yellow Nasi Kunyit (黃薑飯 Turmeric Rice), with Vegan curry meat of mild spiciness plus 茄子 brinjal, carrots, green beans, cucumber and tomato slices, and topped with a 印度薄餅 papadam.

As for Nature's Recipe Café, the shop is located in PJ's Seksyen 8 shop lots, a short walk from PJ New Town (or equivalent distance from the "Old Asia Jaya" location) and the shop lots where it is located are just opposite the PJ District Police HQ. MBPJ parking may be challenging on busy hours of the day but there is also an open space parking (last check was rm$3 per entry) opposite the Police HQ. 

Looking forward for an early trip to Pure Saiva in PJ New Town next week as this Indian vegetarian restaurant opens as early as 7am daily.

Thoughts: Previously, this Home-Based Food kitchen was offering Sarawak Noodles just for week-end as a Part time business. The 砂拉越人 Sarawakian now decided to offer her home-cook recipes everyday from 8am until finish. Available are a variety of 娘惹糕 Nyonya Kueh (2pcs for rm$2.50), but the main dish are the Nasi Lemak or Nasi Kunyit with choices of different meat dishes, the basic box contains either 椰漿飯 Nasi Lemak or 黃薑飯 Nasi Kunyit with 花生 kacang (nuts), 黃瓜 cucumber, 炸江魚仔 ikan bilis, 半粒煮熟蛋 half telur rebus, and 超辣自製叁巴醬 super spicy home-made sambal. Customer can add-on 炸雞 fried chicken, 仁當雞 rendang chicken, 仁當牛肉 rendang daging, 咖喱雞 curry chicken, or 滷雞肉 braised chicken.

Today is the first day Grandma's home-cook (a registered home-based food business) offers 椰漿飯 Nasi Lemak, 黃薑飯 Nasi Kunyit and 娘惹糕 Nyonya Kueh. Without a job due to Covid, the Sahrawian couple is trying very hard to get through this pandemic; initially offering Sarawak noodles, and today the Malaysian favorites breakfast meal.

Fun fact, 黃薑飯 Nasi Kunyit is also called "黃飯 Nasi Kuning" due to its yellowish color. The dish has its origin in Java but also popular across 蘇門答臘 Sumatera, 巴里島 Bali, and 蘇拉威西 Sulawesi and can be found in 大馬 Malaysia, 新加坡 Singapore, the 菲律賓 Philippines, and even 斯里蘭卡 Sri Lanka. 黃薑飯 Nasi Kunyit gets its yellow color from rice cooked with 薑黃 turmeric and 椰漿 coconut. In Indonesia culture, the "Yellow color" rice is perceived as 一堆黃金 a pile of gold and so it is often served in 節日場合 festive occasions; including 宴會 parties, 喬遷新居 housewarmings, 歡迎貴賓 welcoming guests and 開幕典禮 opening ceremonies often as a symbol of 好運 good fortune, 繁榮 prosperity, 財富 wealth and 尊嚴 dignity.

Thoughts: It advertised itself with a 35+ years of F&B experience where it started from a hawker stall in Penang; when in USJ Damen , it was first opened a few months ago, With the rm$1 Laksa then offered as a celebration of its grand opening, the restaurant was absolutely packed with customer then. 
6 months down the road, its empty on a Saturday 7pm; potentially if this is the case, not sure if this is the last visit to this restaurant in Damen. The "黄酱饭配炸非洲鱼 Nasi Kunyit Ikan Joget" can be enjoyed in 4 choices: as an Ala Carte rm$19.90, a combo with a drink at rm$21.90, a combo with 2 items (drinks and a bite) for rm$24.90, and the last option is as part of a Buffet item if you don't mind spending rm$39.90.
Coming back to the dinner today, the "Ikan Joget" or 跳舞鱼 comes as a whole deep fried Tilapia fish, comes on the side with 2 types of 超辣三巴酱 super spicy sambal belachan, cucumber, onions, leaf vegetables plus an egg and 姜黄饭 "Nasi Kunyit", all served on a basket. In my opinion, the entire concoction was a good one; nevertheless the "Star" of the dish wasn't the "dancing fish" but rather the spicy sambals on the side of which without them, the dish wouldn't have been exciting nor as appetizing as it should be.
