Thoughts: In the city center/nearby of Georgetown itself; there are maybe 10-12 Dim Sum places to go where 點心之家 Zim Sum, 大东酒楼 Tai Tong, 榕檳茶樓 Yong Pin, 桃園茶樓 Tho Yuen, and 姐弟御品 Jetty Dim Sum are the few I have visited. And Before leaving Penang soon in the afternoon, sampling another Dim Sum spot "宜香茶楼饭店 Kedai Makanan Yee Heong" which is located at the end of Campbell street which is near to the Campbell street markets area (near the cross-road of Carnarvon and Campbell road).
The Har Gao and Siew Mai sampled today seemed quite tasty! Like many Dim Sum restaurants in Penang, 宜香茶楼饭店 Kedai Makanan Yee Heong also offers 小炒 Xiao Chao throughout the day plus 大炒 Dai Chao (Chu Char dishes) Chinese dishes at night! The "香蛋炒米粉 Fragrant Egg Fried Bee Hoon" is one of the signature 小炒 Xiao Chao dishes also offer in the morning session!
