Thoughts: The original restaurant is run by the 馬家族 Beh family who hails from 馬當村 Matang, a village which is a stone’s throw away from 太平鎮 Taiping town. People flock to the village to eat their famous 海鮮粥 seafood porridge, made with the freshest catch from the sea. But fourteen years ago, the young Beh brothers (I think the young generation of the Beh family) came to Puchong's Bandar Puteri to start their famous seafood porridge business here. The corner shop lot is just opposite Puteri Mart and behind the new Stellar Suite. In Puchong, the 馬兄弟 Beh brothers recreate that whole dining experience using the freshest seafood from their village back in 馬當村 Matang. Back in their hometown, their family are 漁民 fishermen, hence the best seafood is easily sourced (Source: Malay Mail).

The Signature in this restaurant of fishermen are of course their seafood porridge where the rm$368 bowls crowns the top choice as a sharing bowl; the rm$368 粥王 Porridge King comes with 鮑魚 Abalone, 海參 Sea Cucumber, and 魚鰾 Fish Maw. There are 7 choices of sharing porridge bowls that starts from rm$108 to rm$368. But here are also 5 choices of porridge bowls which offers 1 person to 8 persons portions. Dinner today is a 1 person portion of rm$33 "海鮮粥 Seafood porridge" which comes with 魚 Fish, 蝦 Prawn, 蘇東 Sotong, 魚丸 Fish Ball and 肉碎 Minced Meats. The porridge style here is something like the 潮州粥 Teochew porridge, where the rice is still in its grain form, instead of breaking down completely.

BUT seafood porridge is not the only signature dish here; netizens have high praise on their 蒸蛤蜊 steamed clams as well. In the menu are a good choice of 蒸類 steamed and 炸類 fried dishes of seafood varieties, plus several vegetable dishes.

Thoughts: Singapore's Geylang Lor 9, have tried it on 31th May 2017, the food offered by original "HQ" at Singapore Geylang was satisfactory especially the Beef Hor Fun and Lala, but wasn't impressed with their Frog Porridge then. (Beef Hor Fun and Lala are from Geylang Lor 9's neighboring shop!)
Compared to the very crowded Geylang location, this one is PJ SS2 wasn't at all (perhaps its because I was too hearly here at 6pm). Definitely like the frog here (very meaty and fresh) but the recipe of claypot spring onion comes with very thick sauce which was too salty for me, mixing too much of the sauce into the porridge really isn't a good idea; but overall, a very positive experience of the frog porridge here. You can order from 3 variants here: with the dark sauce, dry chili, or the plain one, with either 1,2 or 3 frogs choice. Also available are 14 side dishes here, Goh Heong, Vegetables, Egg, Chicken, Otak-Otak, Tofu, and Slide Garlic Frog. 
The rm$4 (small) porridge was definitely for at least 2 person, its better to dine-in here as a group. 
Geylang Lor 9 is so popular in Singapore, not only having one in PJ SS2 but also in Penang Bandar Baru Air Itam!
