Thoughts: Last visit was 24.11.2017, I enjoyed the Charsiew then which was honey roasted with slight burn, very nice. Today's Charsiew does not seem of the same quality as before, slightly above average at best. What happen to the famous "Meng Kee Char Siew King"?

Food Thoughts: Finally got a taste of the much talked about 玻璃叉烧 "honey stickey slight burnt glass cha siew". This is the kind of thing you either like it or don't like it. Arriving here slightly just before 7:30am, the cha siew were already ready. For the siew cheong, will only be rolling out from the kitchen after 8:30am. There are 3 Meng Kee shops here at Glenmarie, the one visiting today is called 明记叉烧王 Restoran Meng Kee Char Siew. This particular shop close on Sunday! It only serves 4 things, 叉烧 cha siew, 白斩鸡 steam chicken, 烧鸡 roasted chicken, and 烧肠 siew cheong. The char siew was good, but steam chicken and wan ton did not leave a good impression.
Parking is easy early in the morning. This part of Shah Alam at Glenmarie Hicom offers many choices of Chinese food Restaurants.
