Thoughts: The idea of having a "嬤嬤檔"風格餐館 Mamak style eatery in 唐人街 Chinatown perhaps feels a bit foreign but that's exactly capture the attention of tourist or maybe even Singaporeans visiting the China town. The corner shop lot, "Chinatown Teh Tarik" is located strategically just next to the 新加坡唐人街牛车水熟食中心 Chinatown Complex Market and Food Centre. 

The South Indian cuisine Indian Kopitiam is probably one of the shops that opens really early in Chinatown, although not every item in the menu is available early in the morning. All 3 items ordered were perfect, price a bit steep for a Malaysian, but taste fantastic. 

The SGD$4 "印度洋蔥鬆餅 Onion Uttapam" worth mentioning it was the best of the 3 items. An 印度鬆餅 Uttapam (or uthapam, uttappam, etc.) is a type of "多薩" Dosa from 南印度 South India. Unlike a typical Dosa, which is crisp and crepe-like, an Uttapam is thicker, with toppings as 西紅柿 tomatoes, 洋蔥 onion, 辣椒 chillies, 辣椒属 capsicum and 香菜 coriander; other common choices are 椰子磨 coconut, 碎的胡蘿蔔 grated carrots and 甜菜 beets.

Thoughts: Malaysian restaurant owners are "slowly" turning to robot waiters during the coronavirus pandemic as a hygienic means of protecting customers and human staff. The Autonomous Delivery Robot (ADR) is being introduced to hotels and restaurants in Malaysia's cities. 

Last seen a Roti waiter was at USJ Damen Mall's Ipoh Nam Heong several years ago, and today saw one at KL Brickfield's ABC One Bistro!

The Robot can climb stairs, so if you wish to be served by the Robot Wait; find a table on the same "floor level" where the Robot waiter/waitress is serving! Nevertheless, not too sure if Robot Waiters are that common in the country. 

ABC One Bistro's outdoor tables are just below the KL Monorail station at KL Central, and a good spot to have breakfast in the morning. BUT today's rm$3.40 "海南咖啡 Hainan Coffee" was disappointing. The rm$3.80 印度蛋鬆煎餅 Egg Uttapam also wasn't too exciting! Both the "ABC One Bistro" at KL Brickfields and Bandar Sunway (near Sunway Pyramids) offer the same extensive choices in their Menu, only today didn't pick the right choices for breakfast.
