Thoughts: This is one of the very popular "Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun" in KL. It is very near to the Tourist foodie kopitiam "永兴城茶餐室 Restoran Win Heng Seng", but "保记沙河粉茶餐室 Restoran Pau Kee" is tucked away from the main roads. Still, at 7:30am today, its already have many customers having breakfast on the walkway of the kopitiam. The "almost completed" Exchange 106 is clearly visible from the kopitiam!
保记沙河粉茶餐室 Restoran Pau Kee offers not only "Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun", but also 咖喱生面 Curry Mee, 全蛋鸡丝面, 鲜虾肉水饺 Fresh prawn meat dumpling,  咖喱鸡河粉 Curry chicken Hor Fun, and 生虾肉云吞 Fresh prawns meat Wanton. Definitely one breakfast spot worth coming back!
my choice for breakfast of Pau Kee's Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun was very positive, prawns were fresh, with tender chicken slices, and smooth hor fun and lots of 韭菜 Gow Choy (Chinese chives), the regular portion is at rm$6.50!
The kopitiam is just behind the Honda Show room, parking is challenging but at 7:30am, but there are parking along Jalan Jati (park at your own risk), just outside of Tribeca Service Suite.

Thoughts: It has been more than a year since last visit to KL Imbi's 永興城茶餐室 Restoran Win Heng Seng. This 人氣茶餐室 in KL Imbi has been also popular for foreigners visiting KL. The 2 most often talked about hawker food here is the 豬肉粉 Pork Noodle and 三间庄猪肉丸粉 Pork ball Noodle.

The Tun Razak Exchange constructions have significantly changed the road access to this part of the Imbi area. Nevertheless, there is still a paid open space parking opposite the Kopitiam. If you are lucky, there are limited early morning free DBKL parking along the road beside the Kopitiam! 永興城茶餐室 Restoran Win Heng Seng houses I think around 10 hawker stalls which offers 三间庄猪肉丸粉 Pork ball noodle, 豬肉粉/粥 Pork Noodle/Porridge, 鱼丸粉 Fish Noodle, 炒粿条 Char Koay Teow, 猪肠粉酿豆腐 Chee Cheong Fun, 烧腊饭 Roasted w/Rice, 沙捞越面 Sarawak Noodle, 叉烧面/咖喱面 Charsiew/Curry Noodle, 椰浆饭 Nasi Lemak, 蛋挞之类 Chinese Pastry. 
But today for breakfast is not Pork noodle nor Pork ball noodle, but Charsiew noodle from another hawker stall; the same stall also offers charsiew with curry noodle and chicken meat noodles. Noodles prices here starts at rm$9 (40%-50% more expensive than other kopitiam noodle stalls). The Charsiew is "sweet" type likely honey or caramel glazed roasted but noodle sauce a little too salty to my liking; overall overall plate of Charsiew noodle!

Thoughts: THE Exchange 106, set to be the tallest building skyscraper under construction in the upcoming financial district Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) in Jalan Imbi, for the past years during this construction period; driving into Imbi area has been confusing and the same today. 
Shops around Jalan Khoo Teik Ee seems the same old shops but I think its now a one way traffic and getting into shops around Jalan Horley is puzzling. Parking is also impossible if not on the road shoulders possible perhaps only early in the morning! And so, landed at "747 饭店 Mixed Rice Store" which sits as a corner shop lot at the junction of Jalan Khoo Teik ee and the trunk road of Jalam imbi. This shop claims to open for 24 hours where there is a Noodle stall in the morning (was told it operates 24 hours as well), Lunch & Dinner will have Economy mixed rice and at night, maybe some sort of Malacca Satay at night! 
My bowl of Taipu (Da Bu mian) was quite salty although noodles itself was ok but both charsiew and roasted pork wasn't fresh (likely from the day before); the stall is cooking some new charsiew and maybe try to sell the leftover foods from the previous day. Definitely wrong choice of breakfast destination in KL today!

Theme: 富随春至万物荣 An Auspicious Spring (Jan 12 - Feb 19)Thoughts: Berjaya Time Square shows off a sea of red lanterns and that's not all, it also comes with a village like setting complete with water ways and sampan, plus a bridge. There is also a chinese re-union table with food props depicting a re-union meal. God of prosperity was present today. 
Needless to say, this is by far the most elaborate decorations and most efforts made among several malls I have visited in Klang Valley for this years Chinese New Year celebration.
