Thoughts: So, local favorites such as Nasi Goreng Kampong, Sambal/Petai meals, even Claypot noodles, plus some Nyonya recipes are all here at Farmers Street. The Malay Restaurant is new (maybe 1 or 2 months already) at LG of Main Place. Prices of meals here are $13-$18, plus 10% service tax and 6% GST.
The Malay Butter Curry Chicken rice was quite nice, from order to delivery to the table is less than 10 minutes despite a crowded restaurant.
Main Place is definitely an 旺 Ong Place! It is as crowded as ever since its opening, I would think it can do well with more eateries. More choices to eat and a mini cinema type establishment can really bring even more 旺 Ong! Opening Hours: 10:00am - 10:00pm
