With the "D200 黑刺 Black Thorn" at about rm80+ this year, being the most wanted Durian species. 

For the first taste for Durian (June, July, August season), sampling the very very sweet D28 奶油包 Durian Creamy Bun which comes from Seremban. A very sweet with slight astringent after taste durian with creamy texture with a large seed, at rm$20/kg. Next up is D88 小甜甜 Durian Darling at rm$24/kg which comes from Johor, usually smaller harvest, its sweet with bitter sweet after taste! 
"Tony Durian" is in USJ 4/9G, at make-shift tents located in the open space parking opposite the 1 row of shop lots on road 9G, across the road from SMK USJ 12. "Tony Durian" offers many of the favorite Durian species except the "D200 黑刺 Black Thorn" (today). Tony and his partner starts business around 2/3pm and end everyday before mid-night, the durian season is expected to end somewhere around end-of-August. 
Parking is never easy on USJ 4/9G.

Thoughts: Very interesting entry in Secret Recipe;s menu: The new durian cake worth trying and an interesting Japanese dessert introduced for some time now. 
The limited offer new Durian Cake cost rm$130 for the whole cake (at 1.6kg), the durian cake is covered with white chocolate drizzle! There are 2 variants, one called "Durian Fromage" and "Absolute Durian" each at rm$11.80/pc (after tax)! I'd say the Durian Fromage is worth sampling. 
Another menu item not that new is the "Shinjuku Bakes" in 4 variants: Maple, Nutella, Caramel, and Chocolate. Sampling today was 新宿枫味烘烤 Shinjuku Maple Bake! Its a warm buttered soft cake drizzled with maple syrup and sprinkles of hazelnut and topped with 2 scoops of cold vanilla ice cream and whipped cream on the side. Very interesting warmly baked cake that seems to go well well the sweet maple syrup and cold ice cream, a rather "explosive" combination.

Thoughts: Purple Monkey just opened its 2nd branch in Seksyen 21 two weeks ago. (its 1st location is at SS2 which has operation for more than 5 years). The shop specializes in Cheese Cake. At the new branch, it is now offering Cheese Cakes at about 20-25% discount (rm60+ from original rm80+). For the mini cakes selling at rm$12.20, now comes with coffee of your choice (Latte, Mocha or Cuppucino). 
I am trying out the "Funky" Durian King Cheese Mini-Cake and its Latte. Looks amazing, taste not too bad at all, Latte was nice. I was the only customer at 3pm. The durian spokes didn't taste that good, there is also another variant of durian cheese cake without the spoke, the chef also mention their best selling Mango Cheese cake!
