Food Thoughts: Both Restoran Azira as well as Hatinie's are pleasant places in any day for its breakfast varieties, nasi campur for lunch as well as other choice of dishes for dinner. Besides nasi campur, both also provide other varieties like roti canai, noodles choices, chicken rice as well. 
For lunch today, it is curry chicken with the curry noddle; comes in a mid-sized bowl with sambal. The coconut curry is well-flavored and added kick with the sambal.
Both Azira and Hartinie seems always have plenty of loyal customers daily at any time of the day, despite both restaurants well hidden in residential areas of Seksyen 16 Shah Alam.

Food Thoughts: Laksa Johor is said to be the most difficult to prepare amongst other Laksa's. The noodles (which looks like spagetti or just 黃麵 yellow noodles) is served with bean sprout, raw onion rings, cucumber, a lime for the sour taste (if you want), and most importantly the "fishy gravy" which is likely made of 西刀鱼 Wolf Herring (Ikan Parang). The fish for the gravy can also be 甘榜鱼 Indian mackerel (Ikan Kembong) or 吊景鱼 Black River fish (Ikan Selayang). The gravy is a very thick and fishy one, and top with red sambal sauce which makes it even spicier. It is very different from Asam Laksa. A very interesting Laksa variant from Johor.

Thoughts: Restoran Azira and Restoran Hatinie at Seksyen 10 Shah Alam are both cafateria/buffet style restaurant of a large variety of malay food; from roti canai to nasi campur and variety of fried dishes to desserts serving from morning till night. Both restoran have likely grown into favorite hangouts for locals and have their own loyal customers. Arrived here early at around 7:30am, and customers are constantly walking into the 2 shop lot restaurant. 
I did like my pick of Lontong as well as Malay desserts today. However, Laksam is only rolling out around 10am, I still have not find my ways having some Laksam in Shah Alam! Lamsam aside, I do think if you are an early bird, many of the breakfast dishes are fresh from the kitchen. 
Restoran Azira has been around since 1985, more than 30 years. Definitely a local Malay varieties restaurant worth visiting if you happen to be in Shah Alam. Parking can be difficult at peak hours (lunch and dinner times) as not many MBSA paid parking spots are available. But the restaurant is located in the heart of residential area in Seksyen 10 of Shah Alam. Interestingly, it is located on a road named "Jalan Ceongsam"!
