May 6 - May 17 (6 Districts: Selangor Hulu Langat, Petaling, Gombak, Klang, Kuala Langat, and Sepang) MCO3.0 

May 12 - June 7 (Nationwide) (MCO3.0 extension 1)

June 1 - June 14 (Nationwide Total Lockdown) FMCO (MCO3.0 extension 2) (most economic sectors are not allowed to operate)

June 15 - June 28 (Nationwide Total Lockdown) FMCO (MCO3.0 extension 3) (most economic  sectors are not allowed to operate)

The latest announcement is the extension of the Lock-down from June 29 with no specific end-date announced. Despite the lock-down of almost 2 months in Petaling District, there isn't any sign of case reduction as yesterday was over 6000+ infected cases and 62 deaths in a single day. Recent news from the authoritues indicates that any decision to reverse the lock-down will be decided only when the Daily Covid cases drop below the 4000 mark. However, Vaccination rate was encouraging with consistently over 200,000+ shots administered daily comprising of 5.61 million of 1 dose (17.2% of the population) and 2.21 million 2 doses (6.8% of the population) at the present.

Today's lunch is Order-Pickup from USJ9's 妈宝素食馆 Mable Vege Restaurant. It is the rm$12.50 "黯然销魂饭 BBQ Honey Charsiew Rice", i think a little bit pricey for the concoction. The box comes with mocked vegetarian 素叉烧 charsiew, a 荷包蛋 frieg egg, 生菜 one lettuce, rice, and accompanied 甜叉烧酱 charsiew sauce. Customer can always call the restaurant to order and collect later; and on arrival,  the restaurant workers will send the take-away directly to the customer vehicle.

Thoughts: There is a "品粥 Tasty Porridge" in SS2 which I have sampled their rm$14.90  "金絲銀線粥 Golden Pumpkin" in 08.Dec.2020. Today's visit is their branch in USJ10, along USJ10/1C, the same road as "冇得顶茶室 Mou Dek Ding Kopitiam" or "大象山"咖啡廳 Doi Chaang Cafe! MSPJ parking will be impossible during lunch hours, but opposite the shop lot is the private multi-level parking facility. 

Instead of the shop's signature porridge dishes, today's lunch choice is the rm$17.90 (Before Tax) "銷魂豬扒飯 Onion Gravy Sizzling Pork Chop". The 便當 Bento set comes with generous amount of onion sauce 豬排配炒雞蛋 pork chop with scrambled egg on a 鐵板燒 sizzling pot, on the side are bite sized portions of 酸辣沙拉 sweet and sour salad, 脆皮炸雞 crispy fried chicken, and 炸魚丸 fried fish balls; plus a bowl of white rice. Also on the side is a a glass full of super sweet "果凍 jelly" 果汁 juice!  At rm$17.90, it is a little pricey, but the portion of the pork chop is probably good for a 2 person lunch deal. 

On a week day, the restaurant is "almost" packed at lunch hour; MPSJ parking is super challenging.

Thoughts: First visit here is also for Take-away last year May 7 during the Period of MCO#1, the rm$13 "肉蛋總匯加起司 Jumbo Pork Sandwich w/Cheese" was satisfactory. 

I believe every restaurant that survived the MCO and more than 10 months now since 18 March 2020, all of them probably have better know-how to design take-away options during this MCO#2 which is now extended to July 3, the initial 2 weeks MCO#2 kicked in 13 January is now extended for the total of 21 days until Feb 4 which is just ahead of the Chinese New Year.

SS15's 多士號 The Toast House now offering Taiwanese style Bento on-top of their Signature Sandwiches. The Bento comes with choice of Fish, Chicken, Pork, or Beef from rm$9.90 to rm$14.90, and it comes with Drinks and Desserts (albeit Dessert is only for Dine-in). Today's lunch is the rm$12.90 "台式炸雞腿便當 Taiwanese Fried Chicken Bento", very filling and "sweet". The box comes with 烤雞 Roasted chicken, 黃瓜 cucumber, 蔬菜 mixed vegetables, 煎蛋 a fried egg and 雞肉鬆 chicken floss.
