Thoughts: This is one of the "floating restaurants" in Bukit Tambun, Penang (Main land), located on the banks of Sungai Jawi; the restaurant sits on tilts above the river! There are several such seafood restaurant along Sungai Jawi and I think this is maybe the last one heading south of the river via Jalan Bukit Tambun. Thanks to friends from Renesas Penang for bringing me here all the way from Penang Island via the 2nd bridge to the Main Land.
Especially liked the 水煮Octopus & 田螺 Balitong rm$15! Equally commendable was the 酸柑蒸(蛤蜊)啦啦 Sour Clams but maybe garlic version is better! The seafood restaurant offers variety of seafood, I did not see the menu as my friends ordered and I just wait to eat what's coming to the table. An enjoyable meal, everyday fresh from the river and sea nearby.
