Thoughts: Last time here was July, 2017 (more than 4 years ago). The same menu item 招牌"大茶飯" Signature Fried Rice then was rm$12, today is rm$15.90! Although quite oily, the box comes with generous amount of 雞蛋炒飯 fried rice with egg, 炒燒肉 roasted pork slices, 長豆 green beans, 炸江魚子 fried anchovies and 炸洋蔥 fried onions. 

As a Yong Tao Foo specialty restaurant, it offers only 5 types of Yong Tao Foo and 2 fried items; the menu include set YTF with rice or variants of 3pcs, 5pcs or 10pcs. The 10pcs variants is at rm$20  (which means rm$2/Yong Tao Foo). Only 釀白豆腐 White tofu, 釀辣椒 Yong Chili, Yong 釀矮瓜 EggPlant, 釀羊角豆 Yong Lady Finger, and 釀苦瓜 Bitter Gourd or the 炸水餃 Fried Dumpling and 炸腐竹 Fried Bean Curd. 

梁雅 Leong Ya is famous for its Yong Tao Foo in the early 1970s, at that time (around 50 years ago), it is located in Belakong, Seri Kembangan (then it was an Attap building beside the current SBE), right at the entrance road to Belakong (near to the Miens Shopping Mall). Later, at the same site, Leong Ya renovated into a concrete open are "canteen-like" structure but in the 1980s, it moved into Shop Lots area opposite Mines Shopping Mall.

USJ10 Leong Ya Kitchen 梁雅紙包雞 not yet ready for Dine-in, although the nearby Uncle Don is already packed with customers boozing away with Happy Hour beer! Starting August 20 (2 days ago), Dine-in are now allowed in 巴生谷 Klang Valley for the 二劑接種 Fully Vaccinated. This also including the relaxation of certain SOPs including sports, recreational activities and opening of night markets.

Thoughts: Was a little disappointed with the 咖哩山猪肉 curry wild board, cannot find the taste I had at Leong Ya 30+years ago in Belakong. Luckily the stir fired pork belly 爆花腩肉 was interesting. Saw stir-fried kailan in Hong Kong TV last week, and ordered it to try.
I suppose Leong Ya now handled by its next generation with few branches here and there cannot really maintained the standards when it was a single restaurant in Belakong where there serve everything from Yong Tao Foo to dishes like wild board and wrapped chickens. Really cannot find those taste of Leong Ya in the old days!

Thoughts: Leong Ya or 梁雅 is a household restaurant name if you happen to be dining in Belakong as this restaurant has been around since the 70s. Since the family's parents passing, somehow the restaurant business had been split between the children. I believe there is still a belakong main branch. The one in Puchong is
梁雅(女) 姐姐开的 which sells Yong Tao Fu as well. The menu choice at USJ 10, not sure if it is 梁雅(男) 弟弟开的 does not sell Yong Tao Fu; I understand 梁雅(新)哥哥开的. Both branches sells the Paper Wrapped Chicken (纸包鸡) as well as other dishes.
So, there are actually really 3 shops 梁雅(男)、新梁雅及梁雅（女）, even in Serdang/Belakong there are 3 shops. Some say one is better than the other but I honestly cannot tell the difference!
The 大茶饭 I ordered was really 够锅气, the roasted pork was really fried till almost burned! I wished there were more chinese sausage in it.
I have tasted 梁雅's paper chicken since the 70s in Serdang/Belakong, I think the taste is similar. Almost tasted the one in Puchong 梁雅（女), can't tell the difference.
Prices of Dip Tau Fan 碟头饭 and Fried Mees are all between $8.90 to $9.50, reasonble in an air-conditioned restaurant in Taipan. There are also menu for dishes 叫菜吃饭 at all the 梁雅 restaurants. One of these days, I will drive to Serdang/Belakong to visit one of the 3 梁雅 shops just for old time sake.
