金宝干捞鱼丸老鼠粉 Kampar Fish Ball Dry Rat Noodle $6
Thoughts: The stall run by an elderly lady, she has been selling the "Kampar Fish Ball Noodles" here at USJ 17's Weng Soon Jaya for a long time. But I am not sure I tried it before, but today I did ordered the Dry version of Rat Noodle from her.
Nice, not too salty. I enjoyed it. Weng Soon Jaya will soon take over its next door neighbour 五金店 (Hardware Store), it will likely demolish the walls and combine 2 shops for its Restaurant and thus likely to have more hawker stalls and seats for customers. Perhaps good news for nearby residents.
Since many of the old time hawkers had boycotted Weng Soon Jaya and moved to USJ 20; there was a slum period here but now it seems business is as usual. Customers are coming back, I think. There goes to show 或许这个世界没有谁离开谁是不能的吧! Nevertheless, I still missed those previous old hawkers food here at Weng Soon Jaya, especially the Char Koay Teow, Wan Ton Mee, and Pork Noodles. Mind you that there are now 3 new hawkers here at Weng Soon Jaya also selling the same things of 炒粿条, 云吞面, & 猪肉粉. Other food hawkers are Chee Cheong Fun, Nasi Lemak (Malay), 烧腊 Roasted Chicken/Pork Rice, and Pan Mee!
With the upcoming expansion of Weng Soon Jaya, hope to see more Hawker installments here as it is just 1 minute drive from home for breakfast.
