19.08.2017 Dinner
@ Sakae Sushi Subang Parade SS 16 (click to Google Map)
Subang Parade, 5, Jalan Kemajuan Subang, SS 16, 47500 Subang Jaya
榮定食 Sakae Teishoku $27.99
冰岛之爱 Island & N' Ice Land $7.99
Review: 6 / 10 👍😋
Thoughts: Sakae Sushi have changed their menu entirely and surprisingly, now only offers "ONE" 定食 Teishoku! It comes with Grilled Scallop, Breaded Chicken Cutlet with Japanese Curry, Chawan Mushi, Miso Soup, and Rice; slightly expensive for the price. The first time I ever tasted Sweet Japanese Curry (much sweeter than the Japanese Curry made in Malaysia), was at Yamagata Casio in Japan; the sweet taste was difficult to forget and really is quite good.
Dining at Sakae Sushi now can collect points, I think 1 point for every $4 where you can use the point for the next meal. Every point for the next meal is around $0.20 discount for every $1 spend for the next meal (I think). Each set of points collected in a meal is only valid for the next meal within a certain period, I think this is to attract more frequent customer return visits for those who would like to utilize the points collected, LOL!
There also have monthly offers, I ordered the Crispy egg crepe layered with whipped cream and red beans plus ice cream and fruit cubes on the side $7.99, now at $5. Not a bad dessert!
At Subang Parade, Sakae Sushi has always been favorite among nearby residents here at Subang and USJ.
