Thoughts: 100PLUS is a brand of isotonic sports drink manufactured by Fraser and Neave Limited, headquartered in Singappore. The primary production facility in Malaysia in at Shah Alam. It is no doubt that F&Ns most successful drink is perhaps the 100PLUS.
Throughout the years, 100PLUS currently offers many variants including Berry, Lemon, Orange, as well as its Original; if I am not mistaken, all are Carbonated and very sweet. The new launched variant called ACTIVE is a non-carbonated variant with the least sugar content compared to its other existing variant. ACTIVE 100PLUS has been chosen as the official drink for the 2017 SEA Games.
The "so-called" promotion price now at Aeon Big is $1.80 for the 250ml (smaller bottle), while the big bottle (1.75L) now sold out, which is now selling at $2.65 elsewhere at TESCO. The 250ml at AEON is certainly selling at an inflated price! Then again, the real costs of manufacturing these drinks are peanuts to the manufacturer itself, at what price do shops and hypermarkets or 7/11 or petrol stations sell them depending on how much profit they want, thats all!
Regardless of the price, the new 100PLUS ACTIVE without the carbonated factor and my taste of it is certainly less sweet compare to its other variant, perhaps it can now be a better option for thrist quencing times!
