马来黄姜炸鸡丁饭 Nasi Ayam Goreng Kunyit (Turmeric Fried Chicken) $5
Review: 7 / 10 👍👍😋😋
Highlights: Halal meat, paid parking, breakfast and lunch
Thoughts: I am back at Etiqa Twins Food Court for lunch again today! and I am having the Ayam Goreng Kunyit, this one is at the stall within the Food Court. But there seems to be a few mobile food trucks selling the Ayam Goreng Kunyit around town during lunch hours; and I know one of the food truck is on Jalan Perak just across the road from Wisma UOA2. The most famous one I heard from a student seems to be called "Mat Rock Ayam Goreng Kunyit"!
The name "Ayam Goreng Kunyit" 马来黄姜炸鸡 already sounds quite appetizing, more so with the orangee color of the chicken cubes garnished with the greens and onions. I believe in english it probably is called "Turmeric Fried Chicken" and it's the Turmeric which gives the appetizing flavors to this recipe.
$5 for the "Turmeric Fried Chicken", mine with an extra fried egg for $1 plus. Zul Kitchen also serves the Turmeric style with Beef and Squid; I am looking forward to try them in the future!
Etiqa Tower's food court opens around 7:30am to likely 4pm, the stall "Zul Kitchen" serves breakfast sets in the morning and Kunyit recipes for lunch.
Opening Hours: 07:30am - 16:00pm
