Thoughts: It is a rainy day in KL since early morning. Arrived in KL almost 11:30am, after collecting the new training material (advance pricing!); headed for quick breakfast at Genting Hawkers before my plan to visit LowYat.
It seems that, according to Yong Tao Foo guy, it has been raining every afternoon causing slow business in an otherwise busy time for office workers to dine here. I guess most of them end up indoors for their lunch.
I have been eating Chee Cheong Fun & Yong Tao Foo here since the young man's father was manning the stall alone (more than 10 years). Now, both parents and the son are at the stall early in the morning. Have always liked the curry plus sweet sauce combination on the mixture. Since I never tasted it for some now, I find it refreshingly nice; especially with the rain still drizzling and slight breeze coming into the windowless hawkers lane.
