Thoughts: Located at CBD Perth, and 4 minutes from Perth Underground Station. It takes about 20-25 minutes travel time via Taxi from Perth Airport to the Hotel (cost around AUD$50+ depending on traffic). The "Nightcap at Belgium Beer Cafe" is both a Hotel on the 2nd flood with less then 20 rooms and a Belgium theme restaurant and bar at the ground floor.
Checking in the hotel is unique, you are provided a unique pass-code via email which is to be used for entry to the 2nd floor. There are no lift to the 2nd floor, you will have to drag your luggage up the staircase. There are no receiption nor front-desk at the 2nd floor, the email's instruction was to pick up the phone to alert the stuff. While waiting, guest can have a drink from the fridge (self service).
Interesting, the breakfast is in the form of a take-away box which will be provided daily by the cleaners for next morning use. There are a few choices; its generally cereal, cup-cake, milk and/or some drinks.
It can be a bit noisy as the bar is the downstairs! but the room was new, clean, simple and great location. The welcome drink was an excellent surprise and you also get 2 free beer coupons. Although the breakfast box wasn't too bad, there are ample coffee and breakfast choices near the hotel. Another plus side, internet speed was excellent both at the room or bar area.
If you do need some, like some toiletries; you will have to do it between 8:00am to 05:00pm via the phone at the 2nd floor waiting area (at arrival). Cleaners only seems to start cleaning at around 1pm. Some rooms may not have working table, if you need one, make a request when booking online.
There is an iron-board available in the room and ample power points and usb charging ports for device charging and electrical items.
There are a few down points for here for this hotel, it is near to the train station and at the centre of Perth. I can see Taxis in front of the hotel (opposite is IBis Hotel).
