Thoughts: From its original location at Jalan Hutton where it is perhaps one of the oldest traditional Hainanese coffeeshop that has 100 over years of history. (3 generations and on-going). Since October 2016, it has moved to Lebuh Leith, unfortunately it was looks "too new" and lack that "old nostalgic colonial look"! The "old location" was quite famous as it was visited by the late Tan Sri Loh Boon Siew used to patronize the place daily, Tan Sri Robert Kuok and Chief Minister of Penang, CM Lim Guan Eng also visited the shop before. You can see the newspaper clippings of "Rober Kuok's" fondness of the Kopi shop on the wall of the new shop.
My breakfast of Roti Kahwin (Toast with butter and kaya), one half-boiled egg, and TecC here provided a good start for a couple hours of Photo-walk on the streets of Georgetown on a Saturday morning !
The Kopitiam is off Jalan Penang, a short walk from Cititel Penang to Leith Street.
