Thoughts: Rudolf Joseph Lorenz Steiner (a German-Austrian Origin), Born in 1861 was an Austrian philosopher, social reformer, architect and esotericist. Steiner proposed the theory of "The 12 senses" which is grouped in to 3 categories:
And here is is one interesting "Drinking Hole" in Penang called "The 12 senses" but in Chinese is the famous "龙虎门"! Located within one of the old shop lots at Lebuh Presgrave where the exterior did not strike as a wine/pub location. I suppose people are always trilled to explore these "Gems" hidden in traditional shop houses on the streets of Penang, and there are quite a few "Watering holes" designed with this "Secretive Theme" of inconspicuous façade and secret entryways.
龙虎门 "The 12 senses" presents itself as an "Ancient Chinese theme" Cockail-Bar with nightly different life-ban performances starting late at night (I think after 10pm)! From the entrance, inside the shop before the 2nd door which is locked, you are greeted with a Bruce Lee painting and a 木人桩 "Mu ren zhuang", you will literally have to use the 木人桩 "Mu ren zhuang" (a wooden dummy used in Chinese martial arts training) to un-lock the door to the dimly lighted bar area. Definitely an interesting Watering Hole, amongst many others, here in Penang.
Not just beers but cocktails are available here! Prices of cocktails starts from rm$40++. The Pub opens at 4pm and closes late in the morning at 2am but not available on Sundays. With Beer, Juices, Rum, Wine, and Cocktails; there are surely something for everyone here and definitely worth a visit if you happen to be in Penang.
