Thoughts: La Cocina is a Spanish term for “The Kitchen” or “Art of Cooking”, under the Head-Chef/Managaing Direct Mr. Jeganathan; it has been serving Spanish Food at USJ Taipan for more than 10 years.
A the 2nd floor, It has cellars of Wine stocks from around the world, to ensure an excellent pair to its Spanish Cusine offerings! The 2nd floor also houses a full bar with both indoor-and-outdoor seatings which can serve over 100 guest. Usually, its 2nd floor is booked for private events and banqueting.
The ground floor is the dining area. La Cocina's menu offers a wide variety of Spanish Cuisines. For dinner, its the "Paella Combo" set with the Main disha of Spanish Shaffron Rice cooked with chicken meat, shitake oyster mushroom, vegetables and herbs. The set also comes with 2 sides of Calamares & Button Mushrooms in Cream Sauce w/bowls of bread, and end with a sweet dessert of Ice-cream on luxury mixed berry's! It was overall an excellent choice.
The 2 extra dishes was Squid Ink Linguini and Vegetable Chicken Bruchetta, both are somewhat interesting; with especially the Squick Ink cooking did challenge the palates a little bit.
